Cian was born on the 24th of Feb! She was 7.8 pound and 48cm long. Labour was 7 hours all up, it started with period like cramps as i woke up in the morning. I took my older kids to school/kindy and came home to increasing contractions, it was 1pm when i left for hospital, contractions were 3 mins apart. The ride to the hospital was bad, i'd left it too late and was in transition phase , hubby had to push me to the labour ward in a wheelchair. As soon as i got into my room my waters broke, i got down on my hands and knees and pushed her out within about 10 minutes. The midwives were amazed at how quickly it all went. I only ended up with a small tear on one side of my labia that didn't need a stitch. We stayed 1 night for observation and are home now.
Cian is doing great, shes a very chilled baby, feeding well from breast, making very adorable noises, loves cuddles. I am really happy to be home, my mum took the older kids for the weekend so they will be back later today to no doubt fight over who is going to hold her first.
Congratulations Cinss!! She is beautiful :)
