I agree with WAG, most people are inherently kind and they'll get genuine pleasure out of helping you. If your mum isn't helpful with cleaning maybe get her to organise some nice coffee and biscuits for the workers?
Thorz you say thank you when can you start!
I know it must seem a lill awkward but remember most of the dirt is the boys, you are not well enough and your dh is busy supporting your family and helping sick people
Thank God for these lovely ladies put them first in line for baby snuggles and they will be more than happy xx
46 more hours!
45 ;-)
How exciting!
Aw thank you for all the lovely comments, i really am feeling great. I've been getting quite abit of pain from my scar but that's it. I really couldn't be happier at the min as i thought i wouldn't be able to do anything with Evie but i'm managing really well :D shes really not helping the fact shes our last either, shes so laid back and we are still waiting for our first cry.
Thorz thats so great that you have such a good support network from your church. So excited for you too, this time in a few days you will have your little princess :D
Oh daltag she sounds a dream baby so pleased for you our lill lady is deffo high maintance! Dh back to work on Monday, mums gone home and I have swimming lessons ugh! Gonna really enjoy tomorrow come Monday eve I'm gonna be frazzled she'll only nap on people lol!!!!
I might b starting that bad habit too fish lol... There's been a few nights where I pass out holdi him...I usually co sleep with my babies for the first monthsish and they all seem to transition just fine moving to the crib... Fish do u have a sleep positioner? It makes them feel more secure and they seem to sleep better...
No but I remember now I used to make one out of a blanket for ds1 &2 thank you I'll try that tomorrow! Had too long off babies forgotten what to do ;-)
Aaaarh, so frustrating! I woke at 2 am to period like pains and lots of tightenings and dozed off and on between them and now of course they've completely settled and I'm tired. Today would be a good day to have a baby, my parents arrive about lunch time and DH is home.
Sorry mum23! That happened to me too about a week or two ago, very frustrating!
I guess I should pack my hospital bag in the morning! I've read some women have theirs packed a month before their DD lol I'm a slacker!
Peyton at 1 month old... it is going too fast!!

Mum23 I had the same too so annoying ;-s not long now thou xx
Wanting pink! She is beautiful! Look at all her hair!!
Here is a little update of Darcey
She is going so well so far. She is stretching through the night now and I'm getting a good 5-6hrs sleep at a time so really can't complain. She settles straight off after a feed (unlike DS1) so I'm back into bed without any fuss. Lets hope she stays this way!

Gorgeous baby pics WantingPink and Salsa! Good luck Thorz, looking forward to your update. I am a last minute bag packer as well, I figure by number 4 you know exactly what you need and it only takes ten minutes.
I've stayed a bit sore and crampy all day, hoping tonight is the night!
Peyton and Darcey are BEAUTIFUL I can't wait to post pics of my sweet Macie tomorrow! In the meantime, I will post my very last pic of her snuggled in my tummy! Here we are at 39w2d! I just got ready for church, now I'm back in bed because I can't go, I hurt too much!

Thorz I'm most excited to see how big she is lol you look about 12 weeks pregnant!
I can't beleive we Are all almost done are swaying and pregnancy journey together... It's kind of emotional.... I thank you all for all your support... Don't know what I would have done without you ladies ;)
Great I am starting to feel pretty sick, my throat is getting sore and itchy. Is there anything I can take to rid myself of this sickness before it even starts? I can't be sick when I have her.
Vitamin c!!!
Thorz you look amazing!!! Good luck tomorrow, can't wait for your update. As far as warding off sickness, you can try zinc lozenges, elderberry syrup (walgreens), vitamin c, gargling with salt water, and if you are willing, lots of garlic (which I personally wouldn't do the day before giving birth, lol).
I hope you're just a little under the weather and that it's nothing. But just so you know, my DH and the two older boys had terrible colds our first week at home with baby Evan, and he and I sailed through it! Thank goodness for nursing. The boys are coming down with another cold right now and so far Evan is still healthy. Thank God.
Thorz my boys have had colds, sore throats and ear ache the last week and Naomi's been fine too. But do understand you don't want to be ill, sure it'll pass is today the big day? Can't get the time difference still! X
Ive been sucking on some zinc lozenges and my throat feels a little better. So this time tomorrow I am hoping to be resting comfortably with my little Macie in my arms. I'm really anxious right now. I'm making sure I have everything packed, and all the boys stuff ready for the sitters, I think I have everything covered. I just need to shower now and go to bed. I'm quite a bit bummed though because DH just got called into an emergency surgery so the soonest he will be home is 1am but I bet he will be at the hospital until at least 5am (I am delivering at a different hospital) so he is gonna be super sleep deprived when he gets to the hospital to be with me.....Hopefully he can get a little sleep there while I go through the first stages of labor.
I know this sound super dumb, but I am also bummed that he wont be here for my shower/bath. I really like to be completely clean shaven down there when I have a baby (tmi) and I was going to have him do the grooming since I can't see past my belly! Now I am going to have to do the best I can and I'm sure it aint gonna look pretty lol. I know some people would never trust their DH to take a razor to them down there, but he is an eye surgeon, if he can't be gentle with a razor, then he has no business doing surgeries on eyes lol, so I trust him completely but I DO NOT trust myself since I cannot see anything. I know its probably not a big deal, but I am super bummed and a little embarrassed that nurses and my doc will see me unkempt.........oh well, I guess there is more in life to worry about. So we leave for the hospital at 6am EST. I sure hope all goes well and that she is perfectly healthy!!!
8.5 hours until we head to the hospital!!
Salsa that is such a cute baby picture!!
Good luck Thorz and will be thinking about you tomorrow!! I am sorry you are in so much pain and feel like you are getting sick... but you look amazing!! I wouldn't worry too much about not cleaning up. Your unkept is probably very kept for a lot of women. I am sure the OB nurses and doctors have seen 10 times worse. I really hope your DH doesn't have another delay and can be with you when you are being induced. Will your hips start feeling better right after delivery? Update with pictures when you get a chance!!
Good luck Thorz!
You girls make some very cute babies, loving all the pics :D
Thorz you look great and best of luck for today, cannot wait for your update. I wouldn't worry too much about not being trimmed down there, mine prob looked like it had been attacked with a lawnmower x
Lol daltag me too ;-) I doubt they are shocked by anything!
Well im very happy, been nursing Eadie myself and at 10days old shes gained a full 1lb (280g) since birth! Shes a brilliant baby only wakes me once in the night and is so relaxed and content :).
Congratulations to all who have had there babies since I was last on, some beautiful pictures.
Here a more recent of Eadie Anabella ♥Attachment 14284
Thorz thinking of you and wondering if your holding tour little girl yet... We seem to be all having super fast labors so I'm hoping it's the same for you!
I will be stalking
No baby yet, looks like I'll be heading in for a c section, her little hand and arm are out so her head can't make it through. I'm just waiting for the doc to come back and tell me what's next........
Her arm is delivered!? That sucks so sorry thorz... But on the bright side your little girl is prob here now! Can't wait to see her
Sorry to hear about the C-section. I have had three now and they are never fun. Hope all is well with you and the baby and update when you get a minute!
Is there only one delivery left now?
Thorz! Hoping the c section went well hon! And I bet little. Macie is just beautiful! Hope you're recovering well and can't wait for an update x x
Hi ladies, I haven't been around for a while (visitors and little one keep me busy!) Congrats to ladylaura and to DLTAG, your little ones are beautiful.
My little Diana will be 4 weeks this Thursday and sleeps at night v well, so I feel pretty rested. Problem is in the evenings when she just wants to cry and I hope it's not a sign of colic.
Thorz good luck today and can't wait to hear your news!
Thorz stalking for news!
Agh girlsway Naomi is the same! so I put her to bed at 7 only trouble is I get shorter sleep but an hour or so when they are all in bed with dh and peace is kinda worth it ;-). Must get off phone and sleep ;-)
I'm stalking too!
I'm getting a bit over my sleeping issues. After the first wake up to go to the bathroom I can't get back to sleep. I'm still having loads of painful tightenings that don't turn into anything. My OB is examining me and doing a stretch and sweep today, hoping it'll get things moving a bit.
yay mum to three!!!! i hope it kicks start things for you :)
thorz i hope everything is okay!!! im getting worried :s im sure your just recovering from surgery
Hope everything is going ok for you thorz, stalking for your update x
Fish, that's a good idea about putting baby to sleep while getting others ready for the night. How do you manage she always sleeps at 7pm? Diana is very restless at that time and I can't get her to sleep at all from 6pm to 8.30pm. But then she sleeps beautifully till 8am, with only 3 short feeds in between.
