I'm so sorry to hear you are in such pain. Hope it passes. As to the 'abnormal' or high Downs results, take that with a grain of salt, they scared the hell out of me when I was pregnant with Aidan and all was normal (had an amnio to confirm). I am getting ready for a bad result again, being 40 it's pretty normal to get a high downs result, but remember, it's very unlikely that those results turn out to be accurate, easier said than done as I know how freaked out we get, and I know I will too if I get a positive result again, but we have to try to focus on the positive and not despair unless there is a real reason to. Good luck, I'm thinking of you.

Praying for you dreaming! Hoping for nothing but the best for you and your little one!
Hi everyone!! I am due June 30 with my second girl. We found out at 10 weeks with the Panorama test. I was told there is a 6% chance it was wrong because sometimes it only picks up mom's DNA at 9-10 weeks. Dh is really hoping we will hear boy at the anatomy scan but I feel that's unlikely. I thought I made peace with it but everyone around me seems to be having boys and it's driving me crazy! I was swaying initially but we experienced secondary infertility and I dropped the sway just to get pregnant! I'm hoping this time was a fluke and the next one will be easier to conceive. Happy to be here!
dream, I been toll from many a teach that all 6 off my kids i was preganct with had downs. You wand too know how many times they been right a big fate 0. I lost 3 off my kids they test them after no problems. My olds is healthy no problems at all even addvicted for her age in grade 4 at only 8 year old. My mittel hads a little problem with her speech but other was normal. My youngsted has hit all her milestone earlyer then expected started talking at only 7 month.

Oh no! I'm so sorry you're having to go through this. I'm really hoping it's a glitch with the test and all is well with the baby.
At 19 weeks it's not too early to tell gender. Most people get theirs 100% confirmed at 16-20 weeks! If they can't tell yet then fine, but they ought to put it to you like that. Wondering if the 'penis' seen was part of the cord covering everything up. I would go for a recheck in a couple of weeks. As for the pain, I would go and get that looked into immediately - from what I can tell a little discomfort while everything stretches is normal, but it shouldn't make you want to scream. Hang in there xx
Hi bennifer11! I see you are around 12 weeks. This group is specifically for those due June/July/August which I think you'd fit into. Will be happy to add you! When is your due date and which are you hoping for?
As far as the other forums maybe pop into the Introductions thread and introduce yourself. If you have any questions from aches and pains to cravings the girls here on the site are great and would be happy to help!
Hi, hopingforagirl2014! Welcome to our group and congrats on your BFP! Do you know your estimate due date so I can add you? Once you've had this confirmed feel free to let me know and I can update.
Hoping your spotting eases and your betas are ok on Monday - keep us posted x
AFM I go for a private scan in an hour. All is fine with baby but is it just me that thinks you very rarely hear 'mummy is fine'? My hospital scan a couple of weeks ago I was in and out in 5 minutes!
Mummy is likely fine, but really don't think I could handle it too well if there's an underlying problem with me resulting in very early delivery or miscarriage (placenta previa, incompetent cervix, etc.) that could have been picked up on and prevented. Just a quick once-over for me. Will be nice to drop in and see bubba again. They've specifically said no gender guessing in this scan (not covered in the price), but I'm going to see if I can ask for a cheeky potty shot and see what I can see!
Prayforprincess- sorry to hear you're feeling depressed and so sick. I hope you feel better very soon.
Welcome Quinn!
Dreaming- any updates? When do you see the specialist? ::::sending support::::
At first I thought that the test was a glitch but, there's something also on the ultrasound :( I won't know anything until Monday morning. I'm going to see a specialist. Hopefully, I can be offered an amnio but with all this cramping I'm not sure an amnio will be the smart thing to do right now. I also again had horrible pains in my stomach twice last night were I woke up from a deep sleep. I feel fine now & cuz there's no bleeding I haven't gone to the ER, I'm just waiting it out till Monday morning. The good thing is that the pains seems to come only in the evenings & gone by morning throughout the day I'm fine. Oh!! I also did tell the nurse about my cramps & she said to go in only if I'm bleeding.
It's actually a test they do to check for downs, trisomy, and some other genetic disorders. I guess a "bonus" of the test is you can also learn the gender. It's not a test specifically done for gender and I only had it because I'm high risk. There are a few versions out and some have strict guidelines for getting it. The Panorama doesn't have those.
Bunny - how was your scan??
I'm so sorry to hear dreaming you are going through this. I hope you get some much needed answers on Monday. Thinking of you!
Welcome to the other new mommas!
Has anybody or was anybody really dizzy their first trimester? I'm 7 weeks and have been dizzy and cold since day 1. That's actually how I knew I was pregnant right away but unlike times before, it hasn't gone away. I'm so dizzy, tired and cold I can barely function! Getting plenty to eat so it can't be low blood sugar or anemia.

from2to3 I am very dizzy this time. I actually do not remember ever being dizzy like this for any of my others. Its pretty much constant still at 11 weeks. To the point of most times when I stand up I need to & grab on to whatever is near me. I had been pretty sick so I figured that was the reason but, lately I have been able to eat more & I'm still having this problem. Hope it goes away for both of us!
Sorry all for the delay! Mummy is well, baby is well. 15+4 and 10.6cm CTR. 156 heartrate. Scan pics to follow!
From2to3 - I'm also very dizzy.. To the point that I won't even get a shower unless DH is home and can make sure I'm ok. I was freezing as well, that stopped around 10-11 weeks for me. But I'm 13+5 and still dizzy :(
Thankfully I've had very little problem with dizziness so far. The only time I did come over dizzy was when the doorbell went at stupid o'clock in the morning so suddenly jumped from a lying in bed position to a downstairs sprint. Felt dizzy for only a few seconds, but very nauseous for around 5 minutes. Won't be doing that again!
Caught baby at the end of naptime. Such a fidget - I'm not surprised I'm feeling basic movement early. Such a cute nose...

Oh, and the sonographer asked if we wanted to find out which we were having:

IT'S A BOY! And couldn't be happier! DH is over the moon - baby now has an identity. He's not so happy that my gut instinct was right and his wasn't. :p
Adorable & congrats bunnywabbit!
Congratulations bunny!!!!!!
