Hi Mlane, this is what I've been eating almost everyday:
Breakfast: nothing.
Early lunch between (11:30/12:30): half a bagel (usally the one with cinnamon and raisins, toasted) with strawberry jam, fat free yoghurt, 1 apple, 1 clementine, and 4 chocolate chip cookies washed down with a big mug of tea with aspartame.
Mid afternoon snack: usually 2 diet cokes and sugar free gum/fat free marshmallows/home made rise cakes (the ones without the fortified vitamins) made with low fat sunflower spread and fat free marshmallows.
Dinner: home made soup (I make big batches and freeze them) with at least 3 vegetables from the list of LE free vegetables(asparagus, mushrooms, leeks,....) with 5 ryvita crackers, or when I get bored of the soup I sauté at least 3 or 4 vegetables from the free list and usually have that with white rice, pasta or cous cous. Sometime with a piece of skinless chicken or two pieces of lamb chops (can't resist them as DH eats them almost everyday. Side dish: usually salad made with lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes.
Dessert: 1 cup of ice cream/5 custard creams/two squares of white chocolate or when I've been naughty during the day I just have plain fat free yoghurt with a few strawberries. Diet coke.
Before bed time: glass of skimmed milk(just during the 2ww, can't sleep on empty stomach). Before it was peppermint tea or cranberry light juice.
I have a few cheat days as well where I have fried eggs on white toast for early lunch and steak and chips for dinner:o
Also I'm not counting any thing as I know this is way less than what I was eating before and I'm BF once Ds2.

It was due on Saturday. Yes and all are BFNs though this is my first month off BCP, so don't really know what is going on...if that makes sense.

I am feeling nervous. According to FF, AF should be arriving tomorrow marking the start of our first ttc cycle...eep!
I don't know who believes in psychics and I hope I'm not out of line. I think I mentioned this much earlier in the thread. Last year I saw a palm reader who said I would have either b/g twins or two babies very close together. This will be our last baby so definitely won't have two close together. Any way, moving along. My Mum saw the same palm reader yesterday. He told her he could see lots of grandchildren and asked if either of her kids were trying for a baby. None of the family know we are trying. So, any way. He said he could see lots of grandchildren for her. He said I would have twins, a boy and a girl. She said are you sure it's not my son, he said no, definitely the daughter! I know it's all fun but, very interesting that he should pick it up through my Mum (DSM) as well.

mum- I know you mentioned in your sway that DH abstained and then did I read you had him release once on his own and then you used his second batch for dtd? Did you do it right away or was the first release long before the 2nd? Hope you don't mind me asking, I am trying to figure out what to do for ours because we too are planning to abstain and I wasn't sure if we just use the first batch or the second and if it is the second...when to use it.
Don't mind at all! It was about an hour -hour and a half between the first release and attempt. Pretty much as soon as he could! Lol! We weren't going to but because I got a +opk earlier than expected so we didn't get the 10 day abstain in that we had planned, nor had we been on Zyrtec for the 5 days, we thought we would so the release first before the attempt. DH was more confident in doing that rather than just attempting after only 6 days abstain. 😊

I wonder even if we get 7-10 days in for abstain if it is a better idea to do two releases, using only the second or if its best to use the 1st release only.
I thought frequency didnt matter? Meaning how long you FR, abstain all was didint matter as long as you got 1 chance at +opk?? Am I not understanding this correctly?

It doesn't seem to. But I still want to include it just in case. Dh has always released multiple times a week. I don't think it would hurt to have him make a change.
Gee I wish I was ovulating today. I am coming down with another cold I think and I got a whopping 2 hrs of sleep last night. DS3 woke up and didn't go back to sleep. He is sick and I think he is getting some teeth. An awful combination for him. I could have used my lack of sleep and illness as part of my sway, haha.
I am really struggling getting to my workouts. I have been so tired lately and constantly feeling sick to my stomach. I don't know what is going on. I am 3 weeks out from attempt and I really need to stick to it but the hour beyond drains me and I almost throw up every time even though it isn't overly intense.

Miane: I remembered reading a story about a girl who would only eat ramen noodles, she was 18 and had the health of an 80 y/o... So I have decided that will be my staple. It's just easier, plus there are literally a lot of different ways to cook it. I just googled and found different recipes. For dinner I just eat the sides not the meat.
Rosie I am so sorry to hear that you and your ds are sick, I hope that you feel better soon. I know exercising is the hardest part, but she will be worth it in the end. At least that is what I keep telling myself.
Odd from my understanding it is one attempt at positive opk or every four days so that you get one attempt in the window (especially great for people like me who aren't using opks). According to the spread sheet abstain has a success rate of 59% while every 4 days has a 66% success rate..... But CFR has the best at 77%
AFM: I know I have been MIA on here but I find that I am less obsessed if I focus on other things while swaying as opposed to being on here. So I have started this whole re-organization project for my house. Not to mention planning both vacations, plus we are planning to get a privacy fence, and get a drive laid soon, and this is the last few weeks of the semester for me so finals are coming up for me and at work the man who does all the lab work is leaving so now I have to not only do my part but cover for him until they get another, which is fine I love working in the lab. (sorry my whole life story there) I did horrible on the diet Thursday, not too bad Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Making a food journal has really seemed to help me, I have a small notebook that I keep in my purse, I typed up and taped my diet guidelines in there so I can keep better track of what I am doing. I have my pill organizer that is keeping me on track with taking those. Started that exactly one week ago. Still waiting on my exercise DVD to come in to get started with that.

I got a positive OPK yesterday afternoon, and attempted one PM. I was mad at my DH over some drunken idiocy so he'd been abstaining for like 2 weeks lol I forgot the zyrtec for 5 days though :worry: I took it yesterday morning and then benydryl about an hour before washed down with a hot buttered apple jack..man did I sleep great lol Had a small temp dip today too so I think I'll O today (Cd 13 which lines up with my last 2 cycles. Yay! for clomid not messing it up) I'm torn whether I want to stick to one attempt or go for another tonight to up my chances of a BFP. I'm nervous about taking clomid for more than one cycle...I think I'm just worrying too much lol
exciting unwirklich! If I were you I would hold off and keep the one attempt. It has better results. Doing it twice is going to increase the sperm count that much more.
oh wow boysway can you imagine if you had twins! how cool would that be! You never know.........
Rosie I think all the exercising you are doing all along will definitely help your sway even if you can't do it for a week or two before your attempt. I think it's overall picture here that matters. At least you have done all that exercise and can feel proud of yourself for doing it I've taken the couch potato route as I was afraid I couldn't commit to it full time.
unwirklich as tempting as it might be wait until four days out from your attempt before dtd again. It has best results for pink. You'll be glad you did.
I totally pigged out today It was my ds3's birthday and we ate chocolate cake by the bucket load!mmmmmm! Probably 2000 cals over today So worth it though!!

Yeah, I think you guys are right. I checked my pH this morning for kicks and it was almost worryingly high..I'm using cheap color dip strips so not an exact science but someplace between 8-10. My normal just after AF pH is like 5-6..OPK is also lighter today so I'm pretty confident I have or will ovulate today...that puts last nights attempt pretty close to O.
I've been trying to get that hour of exercise a day, but I really haven't done so well lol I think there's been one week I managed 6 days since I started the LE diet in Jan. and that was last week because I'm trying harder being this is my attempt month. I make myself feel better by arguing I've had insulin resistance with 2 pregnancies, and noticed I lost more weight once I added cinnamon and pregnitude, so I likely have insulin issues even not pregnant..makes my sad attempt at not being a couch potato less worrisome. After all the reading I really think it's the weight loss that matters most, not so much how much you exercised. Seems to me if you try and only get to exercise 2-3 times a week for that 60 minutes as long as yoiu aren't putting on muscle mass it shouldn't hurt, but then I'm not Atomic lol

I have been craving everything actually, mostly things I just can't fit into the diet like dairy queen blizzards and cake and giant hamburgers from restaurants. From just one of those things my fat would be over and I wouldn't be able to eat anything else for the day so I have stayed away. I am ready to be pregnant and stuffing my face. It's kind of sad that I would have been ovulating in a few days if my schedule didn't go wonky on me.

I am not expecting it until the 28th or so. Maybe a day or two sooner. Once I get my A.F I should know better. I am very excited and annoyed at the same time. I don't want to be pregnant again! I just lost weight and look good finally, lol. I do want another kid though so I gotta do A to get B. lol
lol I know that feeling. I was thinking about that the other day, I'm lighter than I've been since 2008 when I had my first kid..sucks to know I'll have no choice but to gain it all back if I want a daughter, but I think what I'll do is after this pregnancy go back on the LE diet and do the exercise. I figure if nothing else, this sway attempt has taught me that I can lose weight and how to do it. The extra 20 lbs having kids gave me really hurt my self image..I'm not fat, but I've felt that way for long time.

Unwirklich I agree. I never thought a high carb low nutrient diet could help you lose so much weight. If I'm lucky enough to get pregnant it's the diet I'll be using after I give birth to get back in shape! I absolutely love being pregnant. Would do it every year if I could!

Thanks ladies. I think it would be scary, busy but awesome being a mummy to twins. It would be interesting though having 3 older kids as well, lol. Plenty of hands to help. Unfortunately Miss 13 might take a while to come around to the idea of any number of babies. She has said she doesn't want any more siblings. She also has 4 siblings through her father including one she has never met.

Afm, as I mentioned to Rosie, I am waiting on AF to arrive very soon. Slightly sore boobs, cramping on and off. I just want AF to arrive so day 1 of our ttc cycle can begin. Ovulation for me 'should' be around the the 25th-29th of this month. I still feel sick with nerves though :worry: Alright, off to have a snack then off to bed. It's 10:33 am here and I haven't slept from a night shift I was called in for last night.

I really hope that everyone gets pregnant on the first try, I am a very impatient person so I couldn't imagine swaying/trying for months and nothing happens
I am super impatient person too. I told DH if I don't get preggo in April I don't know if I want to keep trying...I am sick of constant exercise and diet. I am afraid if I keep going my sway will get too loose but if I wait a few months then I can get back at it with a fresh start. I'm not sure though...we will see what happens, DH seems super positive I will fall pregnant on the first try because I did with the other three but we are doing things differently this time, I say chances are much lower.
Yeah lol I gave up my want for a summer baby because I was too impatient to wait until like July to conceive (because AK only has like a 3 month true "warm" window)
I'm kinda confused this morning. My temp is actually lower today than yesterday (97.3 vs 97.6) everything else says I ovulated yesterday..my pH is back down today, my cm is no longer EWCM, my cervix is lowered...but my temp went down not up, suggesting ovulation today. Annoying. I suppose as long as it happens today I'm still in a good window with my attempt.
Our bodies are tricky sometimes, I am glad you are still in a good window though! Hooray for attempts! I am so excited to see some BFP's for us! I would really love if we could be in due date groups together!

A study that found in women who experienced an O dip, it ranged from 2 days before to three days after ovulation. Historically I've only gotten one low day, and that low day has always been pinpointed as O, maybe I got two low days this month because of the clomid..

Hi ladies, still no AF for me. Apparently, it looks like I Oed way later than I thought (10dpo or CD24) which hopefully makes me (7dpo) now, I'm trying to stop symptom spotting as it's driving me nuts but cant! :eek:
So I will be testing every week just to be on the safe side. Oh the joys of being on BCP!

I'm exactly the same as you girlies I've been preparing with diet etc for the last three months and never even thought about not getting pregnant first attempt, as I usually do. Now I'm beginning to realise that it could take a while. I'll try for a few months max and then will probably have to loosen up a bit more. Will have to wait and see. Don't even know what dpo I am as I don't temp, and had a few positive opks at different times, but think I'll definitely start temping next cycle. I've had zero ewcm this month too which is so unusual for me.

Yay! CD 1 for me. Officially the first day of our first attempt cycle! And, dh has a cold :( That would be about right!
So far I have been on the HE diet since January. I have had some cheats and occasionally not eating enough. Quite honestly, for the most part I have a hard time filling my stomach for long. I have put on 5.2 kgs since the 11th of January. I think I will be going back over my sway attempt plan. Argh! So nervous, this is crazy!
