TTC Blue Crew Grads

Jen: If I lay down I get so tired that I need a nap, so I just stay moving. But of course I am only 16 wks and you probably are suppose to take breaks with your feet up during the day :) I am sure your docs will induce you if you would like, especially if he is big.

Lola: I understand how expensive IVF can be. But if get preggo with Quads like ELP says we will all chip in and throw you a cyber shower.

Tink: Yes, she did say boy, but it just seems hard to believe.

ELP: I really only wanted the surprise if it was going to be a girl, but now I just am having a hard time wrapping my head around it being a boy.

I do have u/s pics, a profile and potty shot. I just have no time right now to get it on here. I would have to take a pic of them with my camera, upload them, shrink, put on a wesite, and post.....all this without the children seeing the potty shot pic. Since I do have the pics, I kept looking at them last night while getting ready for bed. I guess I just kept telling myself it was a girl and even was trying not to daydream about a baby boy anymore, so I would stop torturing myself. In a few weeks at my 20wks u/s it will feel more real, I hope DH doesn't want to come!

Oh, GL Jen with your u/s, I will check for an update later.

Well ladies it's good news, ok news and kinda bad news. First the good - fluid levels are at the high end of normal but within range so not a concern. The ok - Baby's measuring about a week ahead with a fairly big head and a big belly, the big belly is a bit of a concern and they are sending me for yet another diabetes test tomorrow. The kinda bad - he's still breech so I'll need to be closely monitored for the rest of the preg. If he doesn't turn in the next couple weeks more serious conversations will take place. I'm a little bummed at the thought of a c-section but will do everything natural to flip him around :)

ohh good and bad yes but not horrible! I cant believe how close you are to getting your little dood! I remember when you found out!!!!!! This is so exciting.

Wp, Well I hope it's real! I cant wai to see pics. We were told at 15 weeks ours was a boy, tech said he would bet his job on it. SAid 100% with out a doubt! I still think it;s to good to be true. I go again for on the 17th for another scan. I will almost be 20 weeks! SO hoping it;s still the same!

Jen: I agree with Tink, at least it is not horrible news. Nothing is "wrong", just not what everyone wants. I will keep you in my prayers. When do they want him to flip by? Your due date? before?

Where is CA? I know she should be having a gender scan around the same time as me.

Yep definitely not horrible news but not what I was hoping to hear. The u/s dr is hoping he'll flip by 37weeks. I've got a m/w appt today and I'll be able to talk to her in more detail about it all, I've got a thousand questions lol

WP, congratulations on your BOY!!! That's so exciting that we're seeing more successful blue sways. Your poor m/w probably feels terrible.

3P1B, I am so excited for you to hold that little boy! My SIL had her boy on Cmas Eve and he is just precious. So totally different from my girls in that he is really laid back and quiet!

I don't have a dr appt until Jan 23rd. Then I will be 8 weeks and that's just the initial tests, so I'll see my doctor 1-3 weeks after that. I'm not really sure if we're going to find out the gender at our 20 week ultrasound or not. I'm high risk because of a blood problem, so I'll get an US every 2ish weeks after 24 weeks so we can find out whenever we want. We really want a boy, but we are really good at making girls, so I don't really know if I want to find out before he/she comes. Once the baby is in your arms, it's really hard to be disappointed, know what I mean? I am thinking about finding out around 36 weeks or so. That way, we'll be prepared but so close to the arrival it won't matter. On the other hand, it is really fun to find out in the delivery room! Basically, if it's a boy I want to know NOW and if it's not, I don't want to know until she comes. Crazy, right?! =) I am so excited to walk this journey with you ladies! We're not telling anyone IRL until we have to or until we're past 13-15 weeks so it's extra fun to come here and chat about it!

3P1B- check out this website: Spinning Babies Home | spinningbabies.com I used it with #2 to make sure she was in the right position for birth since I was attempting a vbac and #1 was sunny-side up and I had to have a c-section....I did not want a repeat. It totally worked!

Definitely a little man WP! Congrats! Too bad the mw slipped up though :p Just keep looking at that little potty shot. I did not believe my 3yo's potty shot, lol, I kept looking at it over and over and over ;). He's all boy though!

3p1b, I found out DD2 was breech around 38 weeks, CRAZY! (Because I moved to another state during my pregnancy) My Dr said it is too late to TRY to turn the baby now, So I ended up with a c- section. :( Not good at all.

Your baby can turn at any time now you still have a few weeks left, keep checking with DR! I hope your little boy turns soon, good luck.

Lola- thanks, I had another friend recommend the same site. She had a breech her first time around and wanted to avoid a second c-section as well. I've been feverishly reading and practicing the exercises!

Wp- yep definitely boy parts! Congrats!

MFC- I'm really hoping he'll turn but apperently he's in the worst position for it, I'll be seeing my midwife every week until delivery.

Sorry to be so absent lately but I'm having a hard time. After talking to my mw of Thursday I found out that if he doesn't turn by this Thursday (36 wks) then we'll have to schedule an external version for 37 weeks. One of three things can happen with a version 1- they turn him and there's a 50% chance he could turn back. 2- They can't budge him or 3- the procedure puts him into so much distress that they'll roll me into surgery and take him right then. If they can't turn him we schedule the c-section for 39 wks as they can't risk me going into labor. If he does turn I'll be watched closely until I'm favorable for induction. I pretty much hate all these options, I was really hoping for another vaginal delivery with little to no complications and it's looking like that won't happen. More then anything I want him out safe and I'm feeling really selfish for being upset. Ugh sorry to be such a downer.

Oh Jen .. I really hope everything will be okay and You don't go through this :( Hopefully your baby turns on his own before Thrusday. Best of luck.

I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow I think I will get my 1st Scan tomorrow! Can't wait to see my baby and hear the heart beat I hope all is well, I'm a little nervous. :nails: I will keep you guys posted!

3p1b: Oh, Jen I am so sorry. The last part of pregnancy is hormonal enough without extra stess. There is still a chance that he could turn before Thur. You are doing everything in your power to have him turn.

MF: GL today at your appt. I was soooo nervous when I had my u/s. We all just get so worked up with all the "what ifs". And most of the time things are normal. I can not wait to hear about it and see some pics.

Thanks everyone for making me feel better. I just kept thinking someone would say "That kind looks like a swollen girl" or "my girl u/s looked like that). It just feels unreal....just like everyone else on here. You know had it been a girl, I would have felt like I had done everything I could and not believed the scan. And now that it is a boy, I feel like it is not real and don't believe it. I guess I will be a little more at ease after my 20 wk scan. Funny thing is DH is so sure that it is a boy that he wants to paint the room already. It just seems so weird that he is so sure without any proof and I am waivering and I have the u/s pics. I feel like just telling him, but I know we will both be disappointed if I do.

3p i hope he turns!! and i am definitely thinking of you!

Congrats to Tink and WP; I'm so glad y'all got your DG :) Much like WP mentioned she would have felt ... I still have a hard time believing I didn't get my son. But 3 us can't be wrong so it is what it is. Not meant to be for reasons I just don't know.

I had to reschedule my appointment so no OB interview until 1/30! Ugh, I am so ready to hear this baby's heartbeat! Can't see the dr until the OB interview is done. Hope everyone is having a good day!

Hi ladies,

I had ultrasound done today when I was suppose to be 10 weeks 5 days according to my ovulation day and I'm only measuring 10W0D ..My OB told me not to worry and nothing was wrong, but I can't help it :worry:
The baby was moving all around, but I am so worried, Anyone else measuring a few days behind?

I told her about the NT scan, She said why I want to have a NT scan done? NT scans for specific high risk pregnancies ..I said I want make sure that everything is OK with the baby, I didn't say anything about the nub theory. They will scheduled me for NT scan soon.

Hey Begoina! So nice to see you around hon. I can't believe your so close...Only 56 days to go! Time flies so fast.

MFC: Don't worry. If they didn't tell you to worry then there is nothing to worry about. Sometimes you implant late or it just took a little longer for your bean to get suggled into your lining and he is a couple days behind....no big deal. I would only worry if your were 1-2 wks behind. Plus, they are measuring a tiny little bean. I was 16wks and the head and leg measurements were completely different....by 5 days.

Begonia: I agree, you are on your home stretch. I understand your disappointment. I really feel for women who have all of the same gender. I have way more girls than boys, but it is nothing compared to all the families that long for a child of the opposite gender. We have 1 family at our church that have 5 girls and a family with 5 boys. They both would love to have the opposite gender, but are content with what they believe God has for them. What is really funny is they mother of the 5 boys is the thinnest women you will ever meet....I would never tell her about swaying, I think she would just laugh :) With all that said, I hope I would be able to have the grace that you (and the women at my church) have in such a confusing situation. I am sure it will all seem alright when you are holding your new baby.

Thanks WP :hug2: FWIW, for me at least ... the baby thing won't make it as easy as it will be when I see my 3 grown women thriving, KWIM? Then I'll feel fulfilled. My 6 year old makes me so proud; I know the older they get, for me, the easier GD becomes. The baby thing is oddly the hardest part for me. I think because all people see is boy/girl at that time, KWIM? But DD1? Now we see artist and kindness and thoughtful and intelligent.

OH and I was thinking about you and your DH "feeling" it is a boy. How fun is that?!? That and my GD are why I had to break down and have my DH find out too though; my DH would pat my belly and call it our boy name with FX, and I couldn't take it... I couldn't take him having hope. So thank goodness his feeling matches the result! Don't show him the pics, it'll be WAY fun for him to see the real live boy :) I know if ours had been DS I would've been able to keep it quiet.

MFC I can't believe you're already 10w5! Wow, it does go fast! Don't fret about the days, I think WP is right. 5 days is nothing. He's just fine :) What a great pic!!! When I was pg with DD2 the NT were still considered for high risk but this time around my doc said it's become part of the routine care; but I suppose every practice is different. Glad you will get one!

I have another scan on Thurs to check size again. DD2 is coming so that will be interesting, LOL :)

MFC - thanks hun. So glad your u/s went well and I wouldn't worry. When I went in for my 20 wk u/s I was 20wks and 1 day but measuring 19wks 6 days because I didn't O on cd 14. If you didn't conceive on cd14 you'll measure off, period.

B- AHHHHH you're so close!!

Well ladies it's not looking good, my home doppler still has his heartbeat way to high in my belly. I'm trying not to lose hope but it's getting harder. I'll find out Thursday what position he's in but I have a feeling I'll be having a version next week. Ugh I hate being such a bummer :(

Crashing...have you tried the moxa or the Chiro(Webster maneuver) yet? I would hands down do both of those before submitting to a version. Way safer, really great rates of success and WAY less pain involved.

Doula - I can't find someone to do either one, Utah is not good for alternative therapies. I'm not going into the version lightly I just don't have a ton of options :(

You can order your own moxa sticks and do it on yourself...or have hubby do it:) It's very simple. A caveman could do it....LOL

One thing to try....tell him you need him to turn. Everyday, tell him you need him to be head down for you and him. Tell him why and how important it is to you. Babies listen:) xo Turning vibes for your little guy~~~~~

I'll look into that. Oh believe me I've been visualizing, massaging (I'm a massage therapist) and we've all been talking to him. Dh has a little chat with the bottom of my belly every night lol

Ok it's official, I'm super uncomfortable! It sucks that my brain knows there's still weeks to go but my body knows it's at full term. I'm 36 weeks tomorrow so I'll post of pic of my monstrous belly and you can all revel in the horror of it all lol

Jen: At least it isn't summer, then you would really be miserable. I hope baby Charlie listens to Mommy and Daddy and gets his butt in the right position, he might as well get use to it. Can't wait to see the newest belly pic.

Man it has been some hellish weather here the past couple days. We have had so many storms and rain that I am having a hard time standing up in all the mud, much less walking in it to feed the animals. On a better note, the baby has been moving quite a bit. It is still really fun at this stage, but when you at 35+ wks it gets a little uncomfortable. I guess I should just be thankful it isn;t twins like the kids wanted.

Heat I can handle it's the pain in my pelvis, back and hips that's killing me. He's leaning on the inside of my left hipbone and pushes every now and then, it kills.

We've had a crap winter here. Only 4 days with actual snow on the ground, we had full lawn at Christmas, brownish lawn yes but still lawn. Quite depressing.

Hi ladies, just popping in to say hi to all. I'm 35wks now & getting excited & nervous for the birth. Will be having a c-section so will find out next week when it will be scheduled. Backache killing me now so am at that stage where i'm fed up & want baby out now, overall it's been a great pregnancy

MFC, i went to midwife on Mon & i was measuring just 34wks when i was actually 34wks & 5 days but she said not to worry so dont worry.

Aww, Jen I am sorry he is being a pain. I hope the news today is good. My mother had her bottom rib cracked while pregnant with my brother...he loved to stretch out.
