It's me! I don't post too often, just check in every now and then. My big ultrasound is next Thursday! :nails:
Oh we would be going to Dallas.
Exciting srg!! Fingers crossed for blue!
Burakoam- sorry your feeling so awful still:( maybe try the unisom/b6 again? Take it for a couple days to get in your system. I took it before bed and when taking only half the tablet I didn't feel much more sleepy the next day. But the nights I took a whole tablet I was sleepy again at 9/10 am.
The last couple days I haven't felt much movement:( which stinks big time because my mind goes in panic mood. I had a few days were I felt baby a couple different times a day, now not so much. Anyone else go a couple days barely feeling movement. I am about 18 weeks. I haven't felt any big movements yet, just the flutters/tiny poking. I am pretty sure my placenta is anterior.
Hope everyone is doing well!

Queenbee- with my 1st pregnancy I felt consistent movement from 17 wks on and with DS2 I felt him twice at 15 wks, again at 18 and not again until 21 wks and it was consistent from then on. You're at a hard stage where depending on placenta and baby placement it still may be a couple weeks before it's consistent. I know its is nerve wracking though! I'm sure all is well with your sweet babe!
I have the same QueenB, and also have an anterior placenta. Now at 19 weeks I'm starting to feel more movement, but sometimes nothing for half a day or more, and then I get worried. I'm looking forward to being further along and feeling more movement though!
So I had my amnio yesterday. Glad to have that over. But the doctor found some fluid around the heart. He is testing for a viral infection. It could also indicate a genetic problem or it could resolve on its own. Any body have this and what was the result?
I also have an anterior placenta -- I had one with my last pregnancy too. I honestly don't notice a lot of difference with the movement, but I do notice my belly button pops out a lot early because of this placement. My doctor said the position is likely because of my previous c-sections; the baby implants as far away from the scar as possible because it's "safer and more cushy."
That makes so much sense SRG! My previous two babies never had an anterior placenta and i was shocked to know this one did...well i had a tubal ligation AND a tubal reversal to have this baby so now it makes sense if it was trying to avoid scar tissue..
Keshet ive never had any experience with that or amnio period...here is hoping its nothing serious or it resolves on its own. Thoughts and prayers for you and baby...
I'm not sure if you ladies remember me. I posted a bit I. The ttc thread and a couple times here.
I had a miscarriage. Fell pregnant. For told I lost this one too but baby was a fighter and thankfully I'm still pregnant. Found out last week our sway worked. It's a girl
Hope you're all well

Just jumping in to say congrats CherryBlossom! Amazing news! Glad your little girl is a fighter!
Congrats cherry! Glad she hung on and all was okay. Double hooray for your sway working!
Congrats on a healthy daughter Cherry!
Srg, we have our scan on the same day. I hope my scan will confirm what I was told at 13 weeks and hope you hear boy!
:fingers:
Fingers crossed for everyone with scans coming up ! May you all hear the gender you swayed for.
Thank you ladies

Wishing both Claire and SRG luck this week. SRG living vicariously through you now...i hope since we are the only two confirmed boy sways (that i know of anyhow) that since i ended up pink you hear blue. I have faith you are both going to hear over the moon news this week. Fingers crossed for you both.
Claire :babyf:
SRG :babym:
I have the viral flu or strep throat. Miserable and struggling to keep fever down as well as sleep at all thanks to sore throat and drainage making me gaggy and pukey
Sorry you are so sick bura...sounds awful!! Feel better real soon!
2 weeks until my 20 week ultrasound. ..feels weird knowing I'm not going to find out the gender.
Thanks, everyone! I am so, super nervous about this scan on Thursday. After the very girly looking nub at 12 weeks, I haven't even allowed my husband to discuss a boy name with me. I have to tell myself it's a girl so that I can be okay with our all-girl family. I know that I'll still be disappointed, but hopefully seeing a healthy baby will get me officially excited about this pregnancy!
Rosie it gets easier after the 20 wk scan because you don't have a choice but to wait!
Hope you and Srg have healthy babes at your scans!
Srg- I was told girl nub at my 12 week appt and now am very anxious to hear boy after getting my hopes up. I hope you hear boy. GL!
If you dont find out your doctor still knows right?? Or does the tech just disregard it?
Hey all just checking in, wishing all with gender scans this week good luck! Hope you feel better Bura!
I have my 20 weeks scan on Wednesday and looking forward to seeing more evidence that this is a little girl!! Still don't believe the harmony test fully though I know I should lol!!
Can't believe made it to over 20 weeks!!
cant find my thermometer trying to figure out if i still have a fever after tylenol or if im just a really big baby. Im shaking cold and lethargic but my body feels hot... Sounds silly because duh thats exactly what a fever sounds like but worried about going to the er not knowing FOR SURE i have a fever... Hubby would be upset if i make him take me and fever is normal... Only concern would be if i still had fever after tylenol only way its ER worthy
Bought a thermometer... Temp is 100.3 and im 3 hours into last tylenol dose... Bottle and dr say not to take it but every 6 hours... Before i rush off to the ER and opinions other pregnant mamas?
100.3 is fine. It is if its over 101 you need to worry. I randomly have a 100.2 temp for no reason now and again and doc said no big deal. If you feel dehydrated though you should go in for that.
My normal temp is 97-98.6 generslly i feel pretty icky at 99 and above... My only concern is iy being 100 anything after tylenol but my fever may just be high and so 100.3 is lower st the moment... Yuck though
My normal temp is also very low like yours and 99 makes me feel icky too! Hope you got some relief. If you still have a temp i would maybe call a nurse hotline and see what they say. Hope today is better.
My dr told me they don't tell them so they don't accidentally say something. It's a good thing. That way no one knows
When I delivered we told everyone in the room that we wanted to announce gender. So when he came out no one said anything until we checked what we had.
Glad to hear the doc won't likely know...that made me nervous knowing she could accidentally slip up. I hate the idea of other people knowing too and not me. Haha
Good luck tomorrow Keepthefaith! I know what you mean about not 100% trusting the Harmony test! I am in the same situation. I'm getting SUPER nervous about my scan in 2 days, what if they say boy? Maybe the 13 week scan was wrong, despite the UL tech being an expert on early gender detection and 100% sure, despite an early blood test saying girl! WHAT if it is a boy??? How would I take that news...??
I have even bought a few girls clothes, even though I said I wouldn't until my 20 week scan.
Bura, I hope you feel better soon!
Claire and keep i am sure you are both still having girls!! Good luck with your scans!
12w6d tech guessed boy, she said she wasn't 100% sure and wouldn't be shocked if it went either way at the next sono. The video, which I'm not sure how to attach, made me think I saw more of a girly nub. But with the last picture she got, I'm pretty sure it's baby boy #3 for me! And as of this very moment, I am ok with that:heart:

Thoughts??
His little fist is up by his head, so it's hard to tell what the skull looks like in the first pic.
Keep the faith and Claire I would venture to say, as Rosie did that you are safe in having girls and buying girl clothes! Let us know for sure though;)
Tarasue- congrats on that sweet baby. Those are great pix. To be honest I cannot tell. If the 2nd pic is a nub pic then it's more boy-ish. Hard to tell though. Glad you are feeling alright with it! I aspire to be as mature as you right now! I'm in a full on pout I cannot get out of.
When's your EDD? We must be close, mine is Nov 5th.
Im due Nov. 13th!
Very cool. Glad to be going through the TTC and full 9 mos with you!
Looks boyish Tarasue, but it could still be early yet. I've had some friends end up with girls that had boyish early (before 13 weeks) USs.
Glad you are ok with it though!

Tarasue my guess would be boy but I am no expert. Really hope I'm wrong! But if not sounds like you are at peace with boy number three Xxx
Thanks Rosie and EmJ, I hope you are right!
Tarasue, that really does look like a boy nub! I have three boys and DS3 is such a wonderful child, I wouldn't miss him for the world! (Despite him being my worst GD baby)

Here it is, the visual proof I wanted of my little Princess!!!!!! Woo hooo!!
Measuring a little small so back for a growth scan at 28 weeks but told nothing to be worried about!
