I vote for whatever you need to do to get through right now. On one of my babies I was really really hoping for a girl, 18+ week ultrasound they told me girl 100%! I was so excited. I knew I was having a girl before they told me....well, 4 weeks later I had another ultrasound and just kidding, it's a boy! Was very obvious too. I was heartbroken.

Not because I was getting a 3rd son but because I had a girl and she was taken away. It was an awful feeling. I still left hope in my head that it was a girl right up until delivery. The entire process was hard but I am smitten with this now 5 yr old little boy. He's my super special snuggle buddy and I wouldn't trade him for 100 baby girls.

This time I think I'm having a girl again. Trying really hard to tell myself that it's a boy and not to be ridiculous.

Just checking in ladies, my issue today is he represents the end of a dream, the reality of reality, etc. I can love and accept him as another baby that's joining our family, not all he represents..if that makes sense at all

Yes, this is why I am both anticipating and dreading getting my results- once I hear that the baby is a boy I won't be able to pretend that someday I might still have a girl. It will be the final answer. The hope that the next one would be a girl was one of the things that got me through GD with my first two.

Right now this baby is sort of like Schroedinger's cat- both a boy and a girl.

I look at ds1 and ds2 and think they are amazing. Of course ds3 would be an amazing addition. But I too am scared for the results; to know that I will never get to buy pink and never get to do mother-daughter things. I have 3 weeks till my first ob appointment where I may get a prediction of gender (I knew ds2 was a boy at 12 weeks). Genetic testing will happen then too.

I understand, Smarston. You did the bravest thing to try for your little girl, I am sorry for the void but I hope in time that gap becomes much smaller and your life as a family of five is so happy xx

Smartson, I know exactly what you mean. I'm so nervous to find out if this baby is a boy or a girl. Not getting your DG is so heartbreaking. It's normal to feel the way you do. Hope things get easier for you ♡

Tomorrow morning I have my NT scan. Tomorrow is also two weeks since my QNatal blood draw. I was really hoping to know the sex before seeing the baby again, but I guess I'll get to wonder about nub theory after all haha.

I got the call as I was in the waiting room for my NT- it's a healthy girl! My NT scan also looks good, and baby was very cooperative for all her pictures.

I'm in shock right now.

Five babies- Nope, no shopping yet... I'm still letting it sink in. My mom will be in town next week and we will tell her, I'm sure she will want to shop. And we go to Alaska in a few weeks so I will probably buy some cute stuff then :)

I'm still feeling nausea on occasion but I'm down to just a nightly dose of Diclegis, so I'm happy about that. Still really tired though- I can't wait to have energy again!

Temerity, how many weeks are you?
I am tired, hungry all the time, and have not been sick at all (was very sick with my boys). Anyones skin really bad? (My skin has always been amazing till now).
I am waiting to know gender before thinking names...contentious topic with Dh!

My nausea is awful.. I have yet to throw up, but I feel nauseous from when I wake up until I fall asleep. I'm super tired too, I wish I was able to nap but my boys don't nap anymore. I didn't feel the awful with my boys either.. and my skin which usually is flawless during pregnancy is AWFUL. I didn't even have skin this bad when I was a teenager!

Pebbles, I'm 12+3 now.

My nausea was at its worst during weeks 9-11. Hopefully you guys will be through it soon!

Bad nausea and skin are wives' tale signs of girl pregnancies, but Inhad both with DS2 also lol.

I've read it's an old wives tale. I tell everyone if it's a boy he'll be a really pretty one, because this baby is stealing ALL of my beauty! Lol

I'm still sick even at 14 weeks, but I'm usually still sick at 22 so no surprise there. I take Unisom/B6 combo at night and have good mornings but then it wears off. I can't take it during the day. It knocks me out! I have loads of Zofran and try not to take it. Isn't all that effective when I do anyways.

We have had a boy name and a girl name picked out for years now. So that part is easy. I can't wait to find out who is in there! I've been eyeing some baby clothes and I want to know which ones to snatch up.

I won't know for another month. I opted out of the blood test, because of the fact I don't know if my insurance will cover it. I'd rather wait a few more weeks and actually see the baby and it's boy/girl parts. When are you finding out fivebabies?!

Luckily both my boys are pretty without stealing it from me haha. I was looking forward to having the beautiful glowing skin again. Looks like this bean has other plans for me. I can't wait to feel somewhat normal again!

I had horrible skin with all of my pregnancies until I hit about 20-22 weeks and then it clears up and looks great!

I can't wait to hear more gender results! I'm getting excited for everyone!

I had bad skin with all the pregnancies, look like teenager again. Still veeeeeery tired and hungry. That is exactly how i felt with my second DD. The pregnancies are so identical i was sure it is another one before the blood test. Even asked the nurse could the test be wrong, she said not with this one. She even opened her data and showed it to me, saying, look it says "male fetus" and your name next to it:)

It just goes to show that you can't predict gender by pregnancy symptoms [emoji4]!!

Happy 16 weeks for me! I just celebrated by cleaning up a bathroom filled with vomit. DS2 puked everywhere, except on me. I still don't know how I didn't get any on me! I hope I don't get whatever this is [emoji16]! I thought something was up yesterday when he wasn't interested in eating anything- even his favorite foods. We leave for a vacation on Monday too. Ugh!

It's so funny how we all have different gender symptoms. With all of my boys I had oily, blemished skin. I looked awful! With my girls I had much better than normal skin and my eyelashes grew like crazy!

Thanks! Me too! He seems to be on the mend now. I just hope I can avoid it. It seems whenever I'm pregnant I always catch the puking stuff but miss everything else. I've only gained a mere 8lbs so far, and I don't have much to lose if I do get it!

How is everyone else doing/feeling? Who is next to find out gender besides fivebabies in 9 days?

Hello!

This is my first post in this thread, I hope you don't mind if I jump in! I am due mid January 2016 and swayed blue.

I am having the harmony test on Tuesday, so should hear the results + gender in about 2 weeks from then :)

I haven't had any symptoms really except for dizziness from the low blood pressure, and being a bit tired. I was extremely tired and hungry for about two weeks to the point of frustration, but that seems to have passed. I have been craving everything :)

Very exciting to read your results - congrats to you all!
