Tell me about it! My DH is adamant that it will never happen. I can't believe she still wants another one! It's kind of nuts! My two brothers are still living at home and she watches my sisters kids every day. You'd think that would be enough for her. I don't know how to help her get past this. I just keep telling her to focus on the two kids that are still living at home and make the most of the time she gets to spend with her grandkids every day. :)Quote:

I hear ya, Pbn3. My temp typically stays high during af too. I'm pretty sure I'm going to start spotting tomorrow, as usual. :( I'm in a weird place over it. All I have is $ store tests. I refuse to buy more frers until I get a positive on one of them. Lol!

Wow momamia, I can't believe your mum wants another ar her age. My mum about the same age but only wants to babysit and makes it clear not overuse her services! She is keen for more grandkids from the sounds of it as after my m/c I was considering not trying again and she sounded like she didn't want me to give up.
I would definitely look at getting a better OB if she doesn't take you seriously, maybe someone who specializes with my high risk pregnancies.
Pbn, try to focus on the positive things about moving on from ttc if this isnt the month. Maybe you could look at a trip away with your family or doing something else you wouldn't be able to do when having another baby.
I do feel that ttc does put life on hold a bit as you don't want to plan things too far ahead just in case. I like to have things to look forward to or aim towards but at the moment it is just thinking about a possible baby.
What a load of rubbish! Change your doctor! My friend gave birth to her daughter still born as she had a blood clotting disorder (I forget the name of it) She takes baby aspirin daily now. She was 20 when she lost her beautiful angel at full-term. I think some doctors have a real problem with people being tuned in to themselves medically & don't accept everything that they say without good solid evidence. I am the worst patient [emoji23] fact is.. A lot of the time they're wrong! Unless there's straight forward tests with black and white results it's more of a guessing game/trial and error. I'm not the only one who literally yells at their frer 'just show me another line for crying out loud!!' am I? [emoji23] afternoon of 10dpo and yes I tested again and yes still a bfn. I made myself laugh yelling at my test though! Thank goodness my boys are so young and have no idea lol!

Yep!! And mind you this is after the tests have sat on my vanity for half a day! I throw them in my bathroom bin then next time I wee I'm pulling them out for another look!!!
Hahaha oh poptart I do that bin thing too. So funny!! DH said it to me last cycle when I disappeared to the bathroom for the 4th time in 20 minutes "you loser, checking that test!" Haha he wasn't wrong. I had it pulled to pieces too to make sure the shine wasn't hiding a positive :P
Hoping to hold out for as long as possible pbn, I'm saying no earlier than the 20th but might test on the 19th! Feels ages away!! I don't temp which makes it a bit harder to wait cause I'm not watching for temp drops/spikes. I can't temp though cause DS2 still wakes at night (hoping the broken sleep sways pink haha! Anything to help my sway!!)
I think temping adds more stress tbh hopper I started just to check that I was actually ovulating now I'm hooked!!! X

You guys all crack me up!! I do the same exact thing though but somehow convince myself that the line just isn't showing up yet. I think that's why it's so upsetting for me when I get bfn.
I got a big temp rise this morning. I'm wondering if I didn't actually O when ff says that I did. :think: That weird double dip right after O makes me think I actually O'd like 3 days later, which would make me only 10dpo. Good luck to those in the 2ww. I'm still in the "sad and feel it's never going to happen stage" aka cd3. Haha. I'm going to my dr next week to see about clomid even though it didn't work before. With all tests being normal last time though, I guess there's not much they can do. One dr said I just had "bad luck" which doesn't make sense to me.

Poptart, I will take a hpt tomorrow if AF doesn't show. I don't like getting bfn, so I'd rather wait and see if AF shows. If she doesn't tomorrow, that'll be a pretty good sign for me as I've never had longer than a 13 day lp. I think my temps are low because of my hypothyroidism. This chart certainly is the weirdest one I've had, lol!

Momamia4, are you on baby aspirin right now? I found out I am homozygous for MTHFR after my miscarriage as well. My endo Dr also didn't think it was a problem since I've had two normal pregnancies and home births with zero issues, but I also believe things can change and I'm now 34 years old and was 22 and 27 when I had my boys. My regular doctor said I should start baby aspirin as soon as I get a BFP, but Atomic told me that the blood thinners need to be in your system before BFP so that baby can implant properly. So I started taking baby aspirin daily but was getting bruising so switched to 3 times a week M/W/F and have been fine with that.
Yes, I've been taking baby aspirin every day since my TIAs 2 years ago. I haven't had a problem with bruising. I'm compound heterozygous. :) Apparently my type is like the worst for causing blood clots during pregnancy. I think my young age (18-23 with all my DS's) is what made those pregnancies successful. Although, I still had 3 miscarriages during that time too. I'm now 32. A lot can change in 9 years, you know? I'm also much heavier than I was 9 years ago. I think that has made a difference too. So, I've been trying to focus on getting down to a healthy weight before we consider ttc again. That's what makes me really concerned about this oops. I'm very split on whether to hope for a bfp or cross my fingers for a bfn. It's very stressful and is probably why I've been able to hold off doing a hpt. I can pretend that nothing is happening if I don't know either way, you know?Quote:

My temperature was still low today and cervix is now high, firm and closed, so I've got no clue what my body is doing. Part of me is wondering if I've lost too much weight to ovulate since this is by far the lowest I've been (113lbs, started at 125 in July) and no matter what I do, I can't seem to keep the weight from falling off on LE. I can't even exercise because of the weight loss :(
We're going to go with the e4d pattern until I figure it out, I think. I've been spending the day with these cuties and trying to relax a bit so I don't get too overwhelmed with all the TTC stuff.

Netti, I did use opks but I've had it happen before where I've gotten a solid smiley on the cb advanced and then another solid 3 days later. That was actually the cycle I got my most recent bfp. It was crazy!
