Thanks everyone! We’re struggling to get her to feed right now. She’s so tiny and tired that she’s got little interest. We had her admitted to the NICU for feeding support and tube feedings if necessary. So far she has managed to avoid having a tube, but she’s not eating her minimum intake level and only taking some feedings without trouble. Right now I am pumping so she can bottle feed in the hopes that I’ll be able to transfer her over to breast in a few weeks. Right now her mouth is too small for my nipples so she just can’t do it.
Bunnygirl, I’m still pumping and feeding them the pumped milk in a bottle, it’s so hard for them when they’re so little
Does anyone know if drinking 'off'milk can cause problems with baby? I just had cereal, it looked fine and smelt fine and was not out of date but when I put it in my tea it went all gloopy and looked weird in the kids cereal

Thanks TP It actually looked weird at the bottom of the kids cereal too (now I have the guilts that I gave it to the 2 littlest ones as well) you'd think I'd be past worrying over everything by now! Dd5 has had a rash that disappears and then comes back the next day mostly on her tummy. The Dr thought it was a virus but that was over a month ago ( dd5 wouldn't let her look at it I had to show her a pic) she is absolutely fine in every other way but it is just baffling me as to what it could be.

I’ve been struggling with feeding issues, still. She has a severe lip tie and a posterior tongue tie that all need clipping. I just haven’t been able to get an appointment for it yet. She sees her pediatrician on Friday where she’ll get a referral, but who knows how long an appointment there will take. I really want to nurse her, but having to pump and then bottle and syringe feed is taking up all my time and I’m not having a very good milk supply. The sooner she gets clipped, the sooner we can start transitioning to full nursing, and the better chance I’ll have for breastfeeding.

Bunny I had to get dd5s tongue clipped. I was in agony but what a difference it made. It was exhausting pumping and bottle feeding but as soon as I healed we didn't look back.

Bunny- just popping in and being familiar with this subject, thought I'd share since I just did a presentation this last month. Is there any way you can get into a pediatric dentist specialist that uses laser? We didnt need a referral and it was SO beneficial. The laser is much more effective on posterior TT and lip ties. Hi all! I was scheduled for a 39 week induction today, but my water broke at 38+1 and baby boy came quickly after! I tried to post a photo but I keep getting an error. We named him Ari Ryan and he was born July 26 at 12:11 pm and was 7lbs 4 oz (our smallest baby!) Hope everyone is enjoying their babes/surviving the last weeks of pregnancy [emoji5]

I’m feeling very sad today. My husband says he wants this to be the last baby. He’s said this after pretty much every kid, but this time it’s really upsetting me, like he may actually follow through with a vasectomy. I still don’t feel “done” with having kids yet and want the option there even if we don’t end up having more. I’ve always wanted 8 kids and I’m not there yet, so I think that’s part of it. That, and I feel like the decision is being forced on me instead of me having a say in it. The only thing that works in my favor here is that my husband is deathly afraid to have it done and never makes any appointments.
