Hypothyroid and swaying pink??

I am going to start by saying that I am not an advocate of playing with med doses...however...

If you are looking to sway girl you want to take a bit higher dose of meds for a couple of reasons:

Being Hypothyroid, lowers your temps and it significanlty lowers your bodies progesterone. Both of these issues was BOY. This is why most ladies who are hypothyroid have boy after boy.

To counteract the effects of being hypothyroid if you are swaying GIRL you need to take a higher dose of your Thyroid meds(Armour is preferred over any other medication!!!!), you also need to take ALL NATURAL PROGESTERONE supplements.
The progesterone supp will raise your temps and therefore sway girl.

There is next to no evidence proving that higher than normal progesterone levels sway pink. And less evidence still that temps have anything whatsoever to do with your baby's gender.

I beg you guys, PLEASE continue to take your medication as advised by your doctors because we can debate about what does and doesn't sway till the cows come home, but having your thyroid off during pg is proven to cause miscarriage and pregnancy complications. Your baby cannot make his/her own thyroid hormone until 10 weeks into pg and relies on your having the correct amount of thyroid hormone in your body to sustain them. From my own research and reading up on sways, every female who was swaying for a girl and was taking progesterone HAD A GIRL :) That has to mean something. That is how I got my daugther! Even Vitex produces progesterone in the body which is one of the reasons that I believe it is so effective when swaying for a girl. I would never say to stop taking thyroid meds (maybe I wasn't clear with what i wrote before) but it CAN be helpful when swaying for a girl to slightly up your doseage :)

Tiffany, I'm not interested in launching into an argument over it, really really not.

We have tons of women who have never had low prog in their lives who have all boys, tons of women who have low prog who have all girls, and everything in between. I don't think the evidence that we have is in any way conclusive regarding progesterone - it may be true, it may not be true. I'm sorry and I mean no offense truly and I appreciate your sharing your opinion and experience, but it's not the type of advice I give, to ever tell people to alter levels of prescription drugs that they need for their health, except under advice of a doctor. Esp. thyroid medication when the wrong dose of thyroid meds can cause miscarriages, thyroid disease in infants, and even mental retardation. I don't care how something sways if it has the potential to cause harm, and WAY too big a risk for a sway factor that is not even remotely proven to sway in any way.
