With this pregnancy I had an implantation dip at 8 dpo, although I did not have one with my DS's pregnancy. I have also had "implantation dips" on months where we weren't trying (ie. no possible chance of pregnancy), so I don't put too much into the whole implantation dip=pregnancy thing. If I recall correctly, a temp dip about midway through your luteal phase can also be caused by a secondary surge of estrogen.

I have definitely had a dip on non-pregnancy cyles. I am almost positive I did not have a dip for all my resulting pregnancy cycles.

I have heard there is a second surge, didn't remember it was estrogen though
