Almost 14 week ultrasound, found out in a week!

Thanks so much Mrs. P! I did not realize that on the statistics! The doctor is unsure of what mine are,fraternal or not, they appear to be in the same sak but they for sure have a thin membrane seperating them, they also "appear" to share the placenta. So he said it could go either way, but he is leaning identical. Thanks again for your input and I will 100% let you guys know when I find out next Thursday 9am! I will still have some hope :-)

No problem - i think its too do with swollen girl parts that potty shots can be unreliable unless you know what your looking for. Keep an eye out for lovemyfour if she guesses - i have rarely seen her get one wrong.

In the meantime, there are a few girls on here with twins if you want to check out some of the shots for comparison - sweetpea has posted a couple of her beautiful babes on here (they are confirmed boy / girl twins) x

I think they look like boy/boy twins to me, but I just wanted to say that if your doctor thinks they may be identical, AND if they end up being boys, then do you know that's super rare? Boy/boy identical twins are supposed to be the least common of any kind of twin type, so that seems so very special to me. :awe: I know you were hoping for a girl, but if they do end up being identical twins boys, I think that's a super sweet and special thing. Thanks so much everyone for your guesses!! Sweetpea, I actually did not know this till today when Mrs. P and you told me! That does make it very special!! Thanks for your message as well! I have my next one January 3rd at 9am, it's my 16 week scan so I am sure I will know then! I start seeing my specialist in three weeks as well with the long 45 minute ultrasound. Thanks for all your kind words and I will let you know next week!
