With #4 we waited to tell until about 20 weeks or so, and my family (especially my inlaws) were PISSED. I sent an email because I knew they were going to flip out (they all thought we were over extended with 3 kids), but turns out the email made my MIL even madder because she thought it was impersonal.
Maybe make a card, like others have suggested. Then it might seem like an announcement, and everyone will be excietd when they get it.
Yeah my mum was a tad pissed to find out I was having baby #5 in just 19 weeks lol. That will teach her for her comment when she found out about #4 "Just because you fall pregnant doesn't mean you actually have to have it, there is abortion you know"....then proceeded to tell me how disadvantaged my children would be because we would never be able to afford to give them anything. Turns out my kids have more than 90% of their friends and just a few months ago she took back all the bad things she ever said and commented that she realises now what a blessing they are and she is glad I didn't listen to her. I hope she remembers that when I announce #6 in the future!!

I am so sorry for your loss Rainbow. I did tell a few people close to me who know what I have gone through in the last few years and who support me no matter what. So if something does happen with this baby I have those people. We told my boys today and they were all happy. They follow our lead at this age which is a nice bonus.
