Ive never heard of Rh- and autism link and you are freakinhg me out now! im unsure if you are saying the link is from mum and bub blood mixing or f you are saying from the shot?!
but in terms of my experience, I had the shot at 28 and maybe 34 weeks with DS1. Based on OB's rec for best practice. I did a lot of soul searching before doing this, as thought why do I need to if no bleeding during pregnancy. However, in the end I took due to risk of silent bleeds, bleeding without you realising, which studies convinced me was enough of a risk to warrant the risk of the shot itself. I always had blood work first as there is no point having a blood product if you already have antibodies!
I then had at birth too, when bub was discovered as Rh+.

I am A- ! In all my pregnancy's they have always gave me a blood test to check for antibody's at the very start and at mid term and as well as that they give routine shot at around 24 weeks after a blood test to check the antibodies first! Just to be sure! All my babies have been + I don't know what my angel was blood type wise they never said but I got a shot the day I found out he had left us, before he was even born! I have had bleeding with all and yes they give the shot but I have never had the shot with any bleeding before 12 weeks they refuse and send me home unless it was a m/c with blood work to prove that it was going beta count was going down first! I always wondered why? I have never seen or herd or have been warned of an Autism risk! I have signed a waver each time and it said that it was because it is a blood product and it could contain things they don't know about yet! With my angel they checked to see if I had antibodies because it can attack bub's red blood cells and kill them!
Thinking about it now I do wonder.... as I had the anti D before he was born and the blood test to check antibodies after I had delivered him a few days later!!! Yet they still cleared that from being a cause!! How would they know??
Any way, I have 3 boys here :no autism and my sister had two: no autism! My mother had 3 girls and 2 boys no Autism! By Bf has a boy with Autism no - blood though!

I think they tested the babies blood to see if the blood mixed... I know with ds three they said he had a triple whammy of jaundice cause of the blood mixing... The delayed cord clamping and there is some thing else I campnt remember ATM
I personally don't trust drs as far as I can throw them ... Most of them anyway... There are only a few that I can really trust and one is my ob.... We don't sign to vaccinate babies and they don't tell us the list of potential side effects either so who know... I was trying to see if there was a clear link here with you ladies and Rh- and clearly there is not s that makes me quite happy

I have read that too, both dh and I are rh neg and so are my boys but if I bleed I still have to get the shot.
I have received it this pregnancy (even though its my last) and with ds3 and he is fine.

Glory if you're both negative you'll have a negative baby. They make you take shot because the medical professionals themselves can't be sure if the father. If you yourself are sure, which I'm sure you are, you shouldn't need to take. And surely they can test baby's blood type and see they are negative too?
