Oh how sweet, I love that. my husband was disapponted when we got a girl after 4 sons LOL. :hair:
I think that if you've had some losses, tight pants, abstinence, and licorice root may not be the way to go. I think we should focus on healthy sperm meeting healthy egg and not do anything that could contribute to a pregnancy that has less than optimal chances for swaying. I would also not do O=12 for the same reason - we simply don't know if an egg that is nearing the end of her lifespan is going to produce a healthy baby.
I would advise the following:
DW take 2000 mcg folic acid
8-15 mg zinc 3x a week
18-30 mg iron 3x a week on alternate days than the zinc
low dose aspirin 3x a week
DH take 400 mcg folic
8-15 mg zinc 3x a week
olive leaf extract 500 mg daily
Have you seen the following threads about LE Diet??

Hi atomic,
Thanks very much for your post, blimey did not really know LR would have that much effect. My MC dr (who we r seeing private) as over in the uk u need to have three mc's then u get treatment, has said DW has natural killers cells which is causing the mc's she is take pregniecare with omega three and high dose vit d and 75mg of asprin daily. I guess with all this may hamper are girl chances so thought I would see if I could do my bit!
We have seen the LE diet and my DW is sticking to it best she can the sodium is the hardest. She is skipping breakfast when she can and having low everything.
So do u really think the LR etc that u mentioned above is not recommended.
At present I am taking
10000mg of cranberry
300mg of mag
500mg of calcuim
500mg of vit C
This is all on a daily basis I thought zinc was a DS sway?
My DW ph is at 5 currently and mine 7
Any other advice u can give I would much appreciate it.

yes, I really am not too trusting of the LR. It is the most dangerous supp we use.
Does the doctor KNOW your wife has natural killer cells or is this a guess?? REason being, (and I don't mean this to be offensive in any way) but you could be part of the prob. as well, and so I am not wanting to toss in anything into the mix that could really make sperm lower quality, if that makes sense. not to bore you with endless repetition but healthy sperm + healthy egg = healthy baby and miscarriage is (to me anyway) way more heartbreaking than gender disappointment is. When in doubt, I try to err on the side of safety and healthy baby above all else.
Yes the prenatal may hamper your chances a bit but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. If you can't get/stay pg, you have 0% chance of a girl.
Please don't worry about the the sodium. I don't even think it sways, I just keep it in the mix because people want it and it's good for health. I got my DD after 4 boys eating a lot of sodium, after getting my 4th son where I was barely touching the stuff. I'd give 99% odds that sodium has NOTHING to do with genderswaying, it's just too widely eaten and in too high of doses.
Zinc for DH does seem to sway blue BUT it's great for sperm quality. It's totally your call to make.

My DW had blood tests with the Mc dr and they came back with this natural killer cells being the problem, with what he has suggested he has a 85% sucsess rate. The way he put it was natural killer cells is like arthritis it sort of comes and goes
I guess I never thought that mayb I was the problem, ie as I have two health DS thank god, that I was ok, but I did have the youngest five years ok.
I must also admit that having a health baby is the most important thing above all else regardless of sex, just after reading this site and ingender thought we try swaying for a girl, but if it is not meant to be then that's fine.
Do you personnal know of any pregnancies where the LR has caused birth defects I did try to read up about all what I am taking and none came back with birth defects! I see it is used quite a bit on the spreadsheet that you have set up, with what seems a mixed response of gender.
Thanks for taking the time to reply like I say I really do appreciate it!

Most of the time when there is a loss, no one ever knows why it happens. I err on the side of caution, and if I had any direct link to demonstrate LR ever causing birth defects I would be screaming at people not to take it. I would not be saying, well I know 3 kids who got birth defects fromLR but it's a good sway tactic...I always play it safe where babies are concerned.
If I had losses I would not use it.
