Thank you very much for the advice, i must admit i a bit ignorant when it comes to issues like these as i have had really easy straight forward labors (apart from the mad panic with my last but even so it was still fairly straight forward). I know my placenta is posterior and she said encroaching onto the cervix (internal os of cervix or something like that if that means anything to anyone) with less than a 1.5cm gap.
Am i reading your advice right in that you think it maybe best to try naturally as long as there is room for the head to descend?

Sorry you got lumped with this situation mrsP. I would just try visuslising your placenta moving up every night until your scan at 37 weeks. Then when you get the results you will know what to do. If it was me and it hadnt moved to 3cm away i would arrange the CS.
