My ds1 was a one time oopsie baby a month after we'd signed contracts on our first house - baby makes three happened a LOT quicker than was planned but he was the best 'mistake' i ever made!

I think so many people can struggle to get pregnant when they are actually trying, people assume its really difficult to catch but i know so many where just the once was more than enough! Shame its not a magic pink thing though or that would be sooooo easy LOL (but then i wouldn't have the family i do know and i do so love my boys with all my heart!)

DS1 was the result of one attempt, this time I swayed pink but had 3 attempts at +OPK, oh dear just keeping my fingers crossed for a pinkie

I'm another successful girl sway with one attempt. We got pg 1st try.

Thanks for this info. I am thinking of doing one attempt this month. But how long is too long to abstain? DH is not a frequent-releaser (he has low-ish testosterone and when he is focused/busy at work or sleeping less he has low drive). So we have not DTD since our attempts last month, so it will be 3-4 weeks when we try on Sunday. Is the sperm still good quality or should I have him release a day or two before our attempt? I should O on Wed or Thursday...does this seem to early? Maybe we should try tomorrow and Tuesday?

This is our 5th month trying and I am getting discouraged. I had low progesterone the first couple months but now my 1.5 year old has weaned so I think it will be higher.

All three of mine were one attempt for one month... none of which were "planned" however I can't really say they weren't planned either... we had been talking about it. Every time I knew I was PG because I know exactly when I ovulate. Three times we haven't used contraception at or around ovulation and three times we have gotten PG.
