I'm going to guess it really has nothing to do with anything. I've seen other threads where people are wondering if none=girls and again there was no real consensus, so I totally just think it's dependent on the amount of hormones for each pregnancy. Just like how with some pregnancies you are sicker than others even when it's the same gender.

I had tons with my girls and not as much with my boy
-
no difference between boys and my girl.
the amount of hormones a tiny baby could possibly make (let alone at 5 weeks gestation) is absolutely miniscule compared to the amount your own body makes just due to sustaining pregnancy.

none with my boys, but this time panty liners a must daily.

Hmm...it does seem like most (not all) people in this thread had different cm with different gender. BUT, I just found out yesterday that my progesterone is significantly higher with this pregnancy, and since estrogen = cm, I'm thinking that's why I'm dry!
I'm sure you're right, Atomic!

I had tons with my boys (like 2 panty liners a day tons) and am bone dry with this one. Perhaps 18 months of ttc and dieting for my girl sway this time has continued to have an effect on my cm though. Don't know gender yet.

I know this is old but I ran across this and have been wondering the same thing. With my boys I didn't really get any until a good 6-8 months along. This time I've had a lot since the beginning! Don't know what it is yet. Like said before every pregnancy is different and this can have different meanings, but it is crazy that for a lot of people it meant different gender!

Interesting..from2to3. I agree with what atomic had posted a while back. I doubt there is any link but with my boys always loads of cm and with this pregnancy so far- dry-
