Thinking blue.
I have to be your hope then, because I say GIRL! :) Good luck!!
Check mine out.. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ultr...-nub-shot.html
Well the general consensus seems to be boy. Guess that means I'll move over to the "gender disappointment" forums. Wah!
So sorry your little surprise wasn't quite what you were expecting. I know that feeling well (my ds1 was a major shocker). But I'll agree that watching a pair of brothers is one of my favorite things to do. :) (My guess is boy too).
I've heard a potty shot is too early at 12 weeks?! So wouldn't go by that. If you click on my nub shot link below I also had a potty shot but not going by that at all.
Your baby's nub to me doesn't scream boy or girl, I see it as a inbetweeny one so I wouldn't lose hope.
I have two sons with just over 2 years between them, their relationship together is lovely. If you are expecting another son you will love watching them play together and being so close.
Xx
I know how you feel hun, DS2 was also a major shock. Got accidentally pregnant when DS1 was only 3 months old. The only thing that consoled me was the thought that he was a girl, so I was devastated when we found out he was indeed a he. However now I wouldn't trade him to a million girls, the bond he and my DS1 share is amazing and he really is a special little boy. You still have hope for your little girl though, nub theory isn't 100% :) good luck x
So, everyone on here has been so helpful & supportive, albiet apologtic for guessing "boy" when I want "girl"... But i have new information & I wonder what you all think. I've just begun researching Ramzi method & low and behold I had an ultrasound done at 6 weeks when I had the IUD removed. The trans vaginal ultrasound clearly shows (along with the doctor's drawing on it) baby & placenta on the LEFT SIDE. So, girl???
With a trans vaginal ultrasound the image is reversed so that would put your placenta on the right...
this is what i found consistently when I googled it: trans-vaginal ultrasounds are a straight shot, but the belly ultrasound is a mirror image.
so the belly ultrasound would be reversed.
(not that i'm anywhere near an expert)
Either can be reversed and to know for sure you have to ask your sonographer at the time, which is what I did and even having the exact info, ramzi was wrong. Sorry it's not what you want to hear.
