Brown rice is a teensy bit of a gray area. this is because white rice seems to be much better metabolized by those with blood sugar issues than refined wheat products are, and additionally there are compounds in the brown rice that may mess with fertility for some people. It also is kind of hard on the stomach for some of us. So, I think it's ok to do white rice on MOST PCOS-type diets BUT some people with moderate to severe PCO may not be able to do the white rice.
