I have a little bit, but I have sort of shut my self off from thinking girl. I think it is so I am not overly disappointed. I even bought 2 boy outfits because I just can't think there would be a possible way to have a girl. If that makes sense.

I have a bag full of baby boy clothes from before dd2 was even born so they must be about 9 years old! I can't bring myself to give them away tho. Also I haven't looked at them in about 3 years ( when preg with dd4) they are in my mums I was actually thinking about bringing them home but not sure what to do.
Babybeaublue- did buying the clothes help or hurt? I was chatting with a good friend of mine who has 6 girls and bought boy clothes when she was first PG with DD6 and she said it sort of helped her in a way. I just worry if I buy a girl outfit that looking at it will bring me a lot of sadness if this is another boy?
I find myself catching a glimpse of the forbidden fruit, sighing/smiling at the cute outfits and walking away. I was going to virtually girl shop (by saving links to nice things, as this is my absolute last baby and therefore my last chance to kid myself on) til its confirmed boy but I think that will set me up for too much heartache x
Mrs Incredible, this is my last baby too...I hope and pray we both get to buy pink this time!! In the past I never let myself think girl for a second, to protect myself, but I was still so upset at the u/s so I don't think it helped me at all? My friend with the 6 girls said buying some boy stuff helped her because even tho she didn't use it, it felt like she had a boy for a few months. So it got me thinking, will buying a couple girl outfits help me too? Or will I feel worse?
Are you going to do the Panorama test? My doc wants me to since I am over 35...it tells gender too (around 9 weeks). That won't give me very long to daydream tho lol.
I'm 38 and in the uk it's £650 for the test. Trying to find a day dh can go with me so might be another few weeks. Maybe get a blatant nub before then but I'll still do the test. I think I'd be lost if I had to buy pink for myself. Probably realise that a lot of it isn't all that I thought it was lol, would still like the experience! Also I'd get into debt for a girly pram regardless of my dh thinking we are reusing ds3's!! Xx

Buying the clothes made me happy because I had only one DD at the time and felt sure I was bound to have a boy at some stage. After dd3 looking at them made me cry to think I would never have the baby they were intended for.
Mrs Incredible- lol you made me laugh about the girly pram, because I am SOOO too buying the girliest stroller/car seat out there if I hear pink!!! Actually now that I think of it, I'm buying a new one even if it's not a girl, although like u I'm sure my dh will have a fit about it. I didn't realize you were further ahead than me, you're at a stage where you don't really need the Panorama (as long as you're doing the NT scan and other D.S. tests). Can't wait to see your nub shot! Hoping it's very very flat and girly!!!
Babybeaublue- mmm, see that's what I'm worried about...that I'll buy some adorable outfit with ruffles on the butt, something I fall in love with, and then I'll hear boy and looking at it will be a knife to the chest. <sigh> I hope you hear blue this time and can use those baby boy clothes you bought!!!! Please take all my blue dust I don't want it or need it!! ;)
My sister was given a 1:17 chance of a baby with ds. My nephew was born in January and although 6 weeks early was just perfect. All that stress and worry clouded her miracle but high risk pg (she's been diabetic since childhood). Another friend was very low risk after the nuchal test, yet her son was born with ds. I'll do the nuchal tests but feel the harmony type blood test will give me accurate info x
