shorter luteal phase does not sway blue. that is based on the totally unproven theory that higher progesterone sways pink, which I have seen NO reliable data supporting it. I have tons of blue swayers with chronically short LP and tons of pink swayers like me who have never had a short LP in their whole lives.
that is a crystal ball question that I cannot answer. I would certainly not rely on a change in cycle as a surefire guarantee of pink or anything like that. I'ts totally normal for your cycle to change over time as you age.Quote:

Typically the only reason for a LP longer than 15 days is pregnancy, unless you're taking a progesterone supp or cream? The corpus lutetium just doesn't make enough progesterone fir you LP to last much longer than that without a signal from an implanted embryo.
No progesterone. I have had long cycles as long as I can remember. It's just within the last couple years I learned to pinpoint ovulation, which is usually right in the middle of my cycle. I never even thought about it since both my boys were conceived on the first try. Is this something I should worry about?
You can have long cycles without a long LP, I had 60 day cycles but my LP is always 12 days. It's the first part of your cycle that varies in length, not the later part (LP). The only way to confirm ovulation is by a temp rise, opks and other symptoms can be misleading. In the chart you posted above your LP was long because you were pregnant, but do you have other charts that show the long LP?
Nope :( That was my first month charting, but before that I used a tracker on my phone to track my cycle. I also used the Clear Blue fertility monitor + watching for signs (to avoid pregnancy) and I ovulated almost always day 17 (still do). A short cycle for me is 34 days, so that would still be 17 days between O and my period.
Yes, it's unusual, while on occasion people might go to 17 DPO it's normally in the case of chemical pregnancy, being on Clomid or prog. supplements, or they were losing a kind of clear fluid for a couple days before true bleeding started (so they were actually having AF, it just wasn't blood at first) and this is typically something that happens just one month and then does not repeat again and again. I have NEVER seen anyone else having 19 day luteal phases without chemical pregnancy or prog supplementation.Quote:

So it's totally possible to have what looks like a real clear shift and appropriate symptoms and just that your body may react a little bit differently than other people's and it may take your temp longer to rise or it may rise more quickly, etc.Quote:
