Closer spacing = more girls
Longer spacing = more boys becuase your body is less depleted by pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding.

Yes, I get what you mean.
My mom had my sister with first month TTC, got pregnant with my brother when my sister was 6 months old and then I was an oopsie 13 years later....
I am convinced that she had 2 girls, despite being superfertile, for psychological reasons and not physical, now that I have read all the info this site has made available for us ().
I had my DD in September 2008, and got pg a year later. My DS was born end of June 2010 :)
Haha LOL I totally understand! Yes it is def. possible that it could go the other way as well, and a gal who didn't normally live a blue lifestyle (in LOTS of ways, not just personality, but also lifestyle and exercise like lifting a baby) could become more boy friendly.
as with everything, it's not X, Y, Z that sways in and of itself, but the overall condition of the mum. So if a woman was in better condition because she'd fairly recently had a baby, then it would sway blue. But as a general rule, I do not think that's the case for most people, most of the time. Most of us are in diminished condition after giving birth, and beyond that, it may be ONLY, or mostly, the ladies who are in great condition who are even ABLE to get pregnant very shortly after giving birth. So it may be a matter of more fertile ladies = more able to conceive sooner = more boys conceived even IF close spacing did sway somewaht pink for them. AFter all, if something takes you from 80% likely to conceive a boy to 70% likely to conceive a boy, it's still swaying pink - just that you're still going to be way more likely to get a boy despite that!
I was also thinking in regards to the situation I mentioned, if maybe a person may conceive a boy in very very close curcumstances, say upto 12 weeks after delivery because maybe they have other members of the family looking after them?!, them meaning the new mum, maybe they are being fed by everybody that walks through the door bringing a meal? (That stops after baby 1 by the way lol!!!!!!!!!)
