:agree: yes I hear that quite a bit. The irony is that most of the blue swayers are starting off really quite underweight and could stand to gain some weight for overall health, bone/muscle mass, etc. And then they gain like 3 lbs and their MIL's are all like, wow really chunking up aren't you. :hair:

I will NEVER understand why some people consider it acceptable to comment on other people's body shape/size. Not only is it rude and judgemental, but often it's just genetics and can't be helped. It's obnoxious to be told I need to eat a cheeseburger - especially when I already DO - since I could eat 10 cheeseburgers a day and never be truly fat. And I've known women who ate like birds and ran marathons but were still very heavy. The presumption of it all just astounds me.
What's worse is that it's almost entirely women who make these comments. It's women being anti-women. We already live in a world in which men are taught to objectify us, and I find it so depressing that some women adopt this same misogyny. Why can't we all support each other, instead?
