No, there is no correlation. Bleeding in early pregnancy is caused by lots of different things and they have nothing to do with the gender of your baby. In fact, at that stage of gestation there is very little difference between boy and girl fetuses because the Y chromosome has not even kicked in yet and begun making testosterone (this does not happen till the end of the first trimester).
My only pregnancy I had bleeding with, was a boy. :)

Thank you!! I did not know about the Y chromosome that is very interesting. :) . I did remember that with my son I was on progesterone till 10 wks so that might be the reason I did not bleed in the first trimester with him. I guess I am in limbo for the moment I took at test at 11am and it was darker then fmu but it was not dry yet so not sure if it was as dark as smu or lighter then smu however sometimes my test can get lighter then darker with pm pee so. I guess I am in limbo till tonight.

Try not to read too much into the darkness of your tests, sometimes your body just puts out a little more hormone or a little less, or it gets a little more or less concentrated in your urine. FX for you. :)

so far so good did blood test Fri came back at 174.83 and monday it was 19.26. I had it done today too and no more bleeding so far :)
