To be honest I have no idea how it works. I know that he is using this kind of condom that is slipped over the probe and it does not hurt when he inserts the probe. However I asked him and he definitly said that I am not in contact with the gel. Maybe its under the condom?? But how comes the easy insertion??? I can ask him again if you want!Quote:

The gel is in contact with the body and it is harmful to sperm and has been demonstrated in tons of studies. It doesn't mean you can't get pregnant while using it, though.
I think he is just trying to be reassuring when he says that you are going to be pg this month. He can't see anything at this stage. If your lining is nice, maybe it gives him extra optimism but I don't want you to think that he saw something that he did not.
