Thinking at least one girl there (twin 1). Not too sure about the second one, maybe boy...
I think maybe a boy and a girl. Exciting!
Thank you. Which one do you think is the boy and which is the girl if you don't mind me asking.
As I was nubsessing and looking through 'Confirmed girl' scan pics to compare with my own, I came across this one in which I think the nub picture is very similar.

I hope I'm seeing it clearly and it's not just wishful thinking because I've got my pink haze tinted goggles on in anticipation that twin 1 is a girl.
I had thought upside-down pics invalidate the nub guessing???
Makali, I think twin 1 is the boy and twin 2 the girl. But the pics definitely aren't clear enough that I feel confident guessing based on them. So actually, my guess is more based on intuition. Sometimes I get a strong vibe/feeling about a pic (and/or a person), even without any visible gender clues at all. I am not so sure which twin is which gender but I feel strongly you do have one of each. Just my crazy wannabe psychic guess! ;)
Yeah, I was thinking that an upside down positioning would have gravity work in the favor of the nub being more at an angle but then they also say that a curled position also invalidates the prediction and yet half the nub photos I come across on here and other sites are of fetuses that are curled up or laying diagonally but most manage to get accurate readings.
Hey maidentomother, it's interesting you mentioned that because when I first got the image I thought twin2 looked a bit more girly and twin1 was the 'boy'. I didn't even think about the possibility that the twins may both the same gender (which is more probable). It's only after I scanned the pictures onto the computer that I was able to zoom in enough to notice a nub on twin1. Furthermore, most predicted twin 2 to be a boy due to the placental attachment being on the right, according to the Ramzi method among other things so I kinda just concentrated on Twin 1 as there is at least something noticable in the nub region.
I hope your intuition and foresight (psychic or not) is correct and I get one of each.
I hope so too! You swayed pink, right? So if they did happen to be the same gender I assume you'd prefer GG? Your son would feel a hit overwhelmed, heh. ;)
I am so excited for you to find out. Twins are so very special.
Actually, I didn't sway at all. I was just happy to conceive because I only have a very narrow window of opportunity to do so as my OH lives and works abroad for the time being. We only get to see each other 2-3 months a year in total (at intervals of two weeks or a month) so was lucky to catch on the 2nd time around. We were getting pretty hung up on the probabilities of us having another and were even considering a sperm donor. LOL but he really had to do some soul searching for that. Luckily, it worked out and we fell pregnant right away. Who knew I'd get two in one go! I only signed up for one! It was such a pleasant surprise.
Since this is probably going to be my last pregnancy, I have gotten a bit too fixated on getting the gender I want I suppose. Would love one of each to complete our family. According to the ovulation charts I dtd around the time it was a stronger chance for a girl but as far as diet and other methods of swaying are concerned - I was just way too focused on having fun while my OH was here to give it any thought whatsoever.
My son would love any. He likes feeling special and not having to share his room. He would love a little brother though. I am quite very used to girls. Was not with it as much with my son but that was due to the very traumatic birth i had with him and it did take me a year to get over it. I also (and this is by no means a rational conculsion) feel that there is something that's going to go wrong with boys. Two of my friends had Amniotic Fluid Embolism delivering sons (one of them didn't make it) and there is a lot of literature which suggests that boy fetuses are more fragile. Given my age (39), having had Obstetric Cholestasis and 2 previous c-sections already, I seem to fill every statistical gap out there for everything that can go wrong! Again, let me reiterate that I am aware that these are not rational thoughts which is why I didn't bother to post them with regard to my gender preference.
Hope this helps.
I really would love to experience one of each again. But thinking about it deeply, all I want is for everything to be OK with the twins and myself at the end.
Hope you're all correct and thank you so much for taking the time to look at my pictures and guessing. I muchly appreciate it.
