I never went gluten free, my sensitivities seem entirely from things like pollen in the air and soap, not food. I have tried exclusion diets before and it never got one bit better. I think sometimes they put too much emphasis on diet when some of us are actually having allergies from other things in the environment and our immune systems all hyped up because of those things instead.

Yes that's very possible. We know so much these day's, yet we know so little at the same time. I have been taking all the right drugs for my heyfever all year round, but am still struggling daily. I can't help but feel there is something causing this that I could change. I do respond to food as well, so for me the answere probably lies there. But for others it could be something different entirely. It's such a complicated issue to deal with and my gp is basically saying I have to live with it ugh. So I will turn for alternative doctors to get some help. But don't know where to start and don't want to endanger my sway. That comes first for me now.

Those are the things that are probably different for every individual.
Sometimes the alternative doctors cause more trouble than they are worth too.
I would just love to fast forward 50 years in the future because they'll have all this figured out by then!! in the meantime, I itch. :)

Ugh yes we'll itch untill they come up with something brilliant! I'm going to try acupuncture. Have had great experiences with that in the past :)
