I think we have better results with coffee. So many of the all boy mums are tea drinkers.
I drank almost a pot of coffee a day when I concieved my girls & switched to black & green tea to get this baby, which is a boy!
Thank you for your responses ladies, looks like i will be converting to coffee then and ditching my green tea (no wonder i have boys), not a big fan but I'm sure i will grow to love it lol. what is the thinking behind coffee for girls and tea for boys?
Ashforblue, did you drink your coffee black? With or without sugar/sweetener? Congratulations on your blue one :)
I have no thoughts on the coffee vs. tea phenomenon, I just knew I had always drunk tea and gotten 4 boys that way. On IG they were saying "caffeine sways blue" but the thing was, I had noticed (also on IG, but also people I knew IRL) that tons of the all girl mamas were huge coffee drinkers and many of my fellow blue moms were either low/no caff or else tea drinkers so it was all very weird and nonsensical to me. Then a study came out that showed no difference in caffeine intake with moms who conceived boys vs. girls and the whole "caff. causes calcium to leach from the body" idea was also debunked so I decided to switch to coffee with my daughter and over time more and more have done the same with seemingly good results.
When I got my daughter, I cheated and had coffee with REAL sugar in it in the morning. Technically it is supposed to be black or artificial sweetener, but I felt like life was just not worth living haha so I made that one of my personal cheats. Still got a girl that way.
Does xylitol count as real or artificial, just out of interest?
ARtificial
