Glad to hear it worked for someone! I would love to hear more about your experience mommymachine. How much were you taking and how often? How often were you still breastfeeding?

Go back and look at what your cycle was befor you got pregnant and take it "AF-O" of that. cycles tend to come back in the same pattern as they were before you TTC.
I did have vitex work for me in that capacity, but over the course of time so few people have gotten good results with it, I am rarely using it much for this situation any more.
I can't answer for MM but for me, I was 7 months past birth with DS 3 and nursing CONSTANTLY and only one AF which then vanished without a trace, took vitex for 3 months and got pg in the second month taking it, without getting aF first.
With next conencpiton, I waited for AF to return, took from AF-O for 6 month, then got pg with DD the month I dropped it.
Thank you for answering my questions! I guess I may just try it for a month or so and if it seems like I'm not ovulating I'll quit and just keep trying to night wean. He's still nursing quite often at almost a year so our ttc time may end up being pushed back who knows how long :(.
Give it a try and if it's going to work, it will usually do so within 3 months. IF it doesn't work by that point it's not going to.
I really think that our experience has been the night weaning is WAY more effective than the vitex but vitex has seemed to help some people. :) Good luck
