+ions question

Is it a huge deal if we DON'T have a laptop? Why is it better than a desktop? We have an iMac. I hope it emits as many +ions as other computers!

My concern with the pos ions is that if they really are bad for health like people say (and some science does seem to corroborate this) it seems at least possible that they might actually affect fertility and sperm in a bad way. I conceived 2 boys before I owned a computer and 2 boys with only a desktop, so I would say no.
