Oh and all my recoveries have been fine, with 3rd and 4th section I want back to work after 6 weeks and I have a moderate activity job. I also don't take anything stronger then ibrupofen the day after the section..
Best of Luck!

Thank you Jany! It's sooo conforting to read about your stories ladies!! I think this baby will be bigger than my others, at my last U/S she measured 2 weeks ahead... We'll wait and see, I'm comfident that in the end everything happens the way they're supposed to and in our best interest, even if it's not obvious at the beginning.
Hi! I had an emergency c-section with ds1 and really, really wanted to try for vbac with ds2!! Wished I'd pushed harder for the chance!! BUT dh was very unsupportive of it and my wonderful ob agreed but only if bub meausered 8 pound or less at 36/7 weeks. Well he was measuring 4 weeks ahead at my 38 week scan and she ended up bringing my scheduled c-section forward lol. Delivered 10 days b4 due date at 9 pound 9oz. So I had no chance :( but I still feel like I've missed something magical - especially with two sisters who have given birth to 5 kids between them! And I go thru its just not fair stages all the time. I will never watch a baby show like the 'one born every minute' series anymore because its too upsetting knowing I'll never experience it for myself.

Yes I know what you mean... My sister gave birth to her DS in the ward while waiting for her OB just 10 min after reaching the hospital.... Also both my SILs had VB and seeing them giving their vabies their bath a few hours after delivery, while I have to have someone help me for the simpliest things for the first week has taken a huge toll on me... Like for some reason I wasn't able or competent to follow nature's root... But anyway, after the first weeks it all goes away, thankfully!!
Another c-section is just as risky as a VBA2C if not moreso, especially if you want another baby. The risk from another c-section is put onto subsequent pregnancies. I had a VBA2C after no labouring before and went into labour spontaneously at 39+6. You can do it! Just don't opt for any interventions (inc. a sweep) and trust your body. 😄

Thank you dreamofpink!!! Do you mind if I ask you how old you were when you had your vba2c and how many years had passed from your second c-section??
I was 31 & half years old, 4.5 years since my second c-section. 😀

The VBAC handbook is a very good read and there are some very supportive groups on Facebook too.
