Advice please- is mother nature sabotaging my sway...

Baby2016baby, for my boys, one was conceived bd every second day and the other one was a one attempt but heaps of clear egg white that morning.

I ate cereal every morning with full cream milk, drank normal tea all day and meat every night, with salad mostly, very little carbs, unless I had a toasted sandwich at lunch. I had lots of milk in cereal and tea. No sodas or alcohol.

I am desperate for a girl, so I am doing the Le diet now, still trying every month, May will be 1 year on the diet with no luck yet, but I am 38 in June, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Good luck, I hope u get your boy, I really think the diet and lots of protien are key, plus eating breakfast cereal like muesli or oats.

I also wouldn't do one attempt for a boy sway. Three attempts in the fertile window is what is getting the best result, with 2 attempts being next. One attempt is strictly girl territory. Both my boys were conceived with 2 attempts in the fertile window.

Are you eating breakfast, eating full fat dairy and meat, and snacking daily? I think that is super important.

I got my boys from 2 attempts in fertile window, full fat dairy, green or white tea daily (1-2 cups, not loads), zero alcohol or coffee, and meat daily. I was also taking a multivitamin, b-complex, probiotics, fish oil, and vitamin D daily. My breakfast cereal of choice was Kashi Go Lean Crunch which is high in protein. Snacks would be nuts, full fat yogurt, beef jerky, or a shake with full fat dairy, banana, and peanut butter.

Thanks for your post really helpful. I'm eating like a horse and we have both cut out caffeine and alcohol. Taking same as you but not prebiotics. Only as in past have give me a dicky tummy but maybe I should order some, would it be best for the pills or the drinks?

Hope you don't mind me asking but for your two attempts when did you do them? I know they say timing is not as important but did you go for 12 hours after first + or wait longer. I'm using cheapies and smileys so was planning on using cheapies till I get a feint line then going to smileys. Was planning as soon as solid smiley and the next day. Or would I better doing at flashing smiley then at solid? I really only have one shot to get it right x

Both my boys were oopsies, so no planning! With DS2 though, I had just bought opks in preparation for TTC and swaying in several months time. I took my first opk ever on the afternoon of CD12 and it was positive! We had already BD on the mornings of CD9 and CD11 thinking we were safe since I don't usually O till CD15. For the first time ever I O'd on CD12! So my attempts ended up being O-3 and O-1.

For a planned boy sway though most people wait for +opk (solid smiley) then do 3 attempts in a row. Before +opk you'd BD every other day to keep sperm health up. So if you get a +opk the afternoon of CD13, you'd want to BD the night of CD13, the morning of CD14, and the night of CD14.

No, I want you in with 2-3 attempts. Start the night of positive OPK, again the next morning if you can, and then again the following night. All these attempts would still be in line with Shettles timing.

DO NOT wait till 12 hours after positive OPK to have attempts. The sperm will not even have time to capacitate and make it to the egg if you O on the earlier side after positive OPK and you may as well be doing a pink sway because you'll have barely any capacitated sperm waiting for the egg. Few sperm + one attempt = girls.

Probiotics were such a good blue sway for us (even among pink swayers) that we totally dropped it for pink and now use only for blue. It should settle down over time with your tummy or try a different type this time.

I have had 2-3 attempts for 3 of 4 of my boys and 3 of the 4 of them were with long cutoffs (other was a sneak attack and so I'm not totally sure when I got him or how many attempts it was). I got my girl late at night (like 1 am) on O Day with one attempt.

:agree: use the cheapies to tell you when to start with the smileys since they are $$$
