I have gathered several credible sources (clinical practice guidelines, etc) citing evidence that TSH over 2.5 in preconception and early pregnancy increases risk of miscarriage, preterm delivery, cognitive defecits in baby, etc.
So far I have had a late preterm delivery and three miscarriages, and a recent TSH of 2.86.
I am hoping that once I can explain that, the dr will at least consider treating me. My fear is that he will feel uncomfortable overriding my regular doctor(s), but if I can reduce my risk of more miscarriages I have to try.
