Everyone did when our parents were young! They did much worse too lol and fertility has only gotten worse! I'm not too worried 😁

:agree: my doctor said (after I inadvertently took a huge dose of vitex when I was first pregnant with DS 4 because I had a period and wrongly assumed that I was not pregnant when I actually was) that early on, it's either sink or swim anyway. If the baby is harmed, it doesn't make it any further. If it was THAT bad that it could affect a baby, the pregnancy would just stop. The real risks of birth defects happen when pregnancy is well underway because the baby is sharing your blood supply at that point and is "stuck", the pregnancy is def. progressing. That is of course no reason to rest on our laurels with harmful things in the 2ww of course but it's not likely that a small amount of coffee or alcohol can even do anything. :)
You thought you wernt pregnant because you had what you thought was a period? I've had a light bleed that has led to nowhere today... Thought it was my first AF after my miscarriage 5 weeks ago. Maybe it's just my hormones settling or something... But hmm...

Yes, I had what appeared to be a full 5 day period and started the vitex. What really happened, we later found out, was that I was pg with twins and one went due to placenta previa, and one stayed, so I took 1200 mg vitex for 2 weeks when I was first pregnant with my 4th son. :( That is why I'm so insistent on you guys taking a pregnancy test even when you think you are not pregnant, even when you have a period, because you can have heavy bleeding and still be pregnant the whole time.
