No he hasn't. I might ask my GP for a referral to get it done. He is 44 already, so I guess that could also be a factor. Whilst he has agreed 100% to allow me to sway, I am not too sure if he would be to happy if the problem lay in his department, don't think he would be too keen to get anything done... Not that I even know what gets done. If he just had to take something that would be fine but if it was more than that, he would can the whole thing. He has been taking, a calcium, magnesium and zinc vitamins drink every morning. He gave up on ole.
What's really good for anxiety and a good gut cleanse is homemade kefir ... I know Atomic doesn't recommend the tablet form of a probiotic but this is a probiitic yoghurt which I believe is ok and also contains magnesium. Also I have recently read that the lactic acid in homemade Kefir actually sways pink ... Correct me if I'm wrong Atomic. Hope u feel better soon x

Thanks Amelia10. I have seen keffir recommend, but it sounds like it like thick sour milk and that makes my stomach curdle.
I honestly think, with the more reading I do that I am suffering from adrenal fatigue, which could explain my thyroid issues that appeared out of know where a while back.
My concern is that adrenal fatigue is corrected through diet. Not sure how I will manage this. I am doing the AFD diet now, as of yesterday as I think my body needs nourishment badly. All my signs point to adrenal fatigue so I am hoping atomic might have something to suggest that could help.
I dont want to ruin my sway, even though it has been detrimental to my health and I can't even get pregnant at this stage. I just don't want to nourish it too much that it favours boy.... It's a fine line.
Bumping - for a reply from Atomic Please, just encase it got overlooked as I know you are very busy and don't always continue to read older threads. Thanks Atomic
Some people find that alcohol makes them wake up in the middle of the night. I would try dropping the alcohol in this case (even though it does tend to relax me, that's only when I'm actively feeling anxious, and not the waking at 2 kind of thing that alcohol may contribute to.)
aRe you exercising?? If not, I want you to, even if it is only moderate.
Yes I'd cut back on caff as well.
Do you have totals for your calories, protein and fat?? That would be very helpful.
Re the no wheat on AFD idea - you have to understand that some people are on AFD because they need to boost their fertility and/or have moderate to severe PCOS. People who are on it for other reasons can get away with the wheat, although you may want to eat considerably less of it.
Something else that has occured to me is Splenda or sucralose. If you are having that, I found it gave me very strange anxiety attacks just out of the blue after I had it (never had them before or since) and I can actually tell minutes after I've ingested it because it just makes me super jittery. Check the labels because they are putting it in tons of stuff nowadays.
Bumping your post makes it take longer because I read posts from oldest to newest and so when you bump, it goes to the newest part and I don't catch up to it. Give me a week before bumping and that will get your quickest reply. :)
To answer your question, kefir or other probiotic yogurt thing is fine. Do I think it's a magic cureall, no. Things you eat are NOT the same as probiotics in pill form and are ok to do on LE Diet. My advice is to have a full fat yogurt with natural microbes in it daily (this will count as one serving of full fat dairy, which helps boost your fertility.
Please don't go onto some kind of hokey "adrenal fatigue" diet. There is zero evidence that this is even a thing, endocrinologists who know everything there is to know about it will say point blank it is not a thing, it was made up by one single chiropractor in 1998 and is not the result of any medical research whatsoever, and if you do have something seriously wrong with your hormones you need to go to a doctor for actual tests instead of going off these vague descriptions on websites that could apply to anyone. Most of the people who promote adrenal fatigue are selling you stuff.
white rice and potatoes are well tolerated by most people and don't affect fertility negatively according to a good body of research.
If you're being strict on AFD you'd also avoid Rye (most rye bread has wheat flour in it as well). The whole grains (wheat, rye, and brown rice, in particular) have chemistry in them that may be harmful to you when eaten to excess (this is how they fight off insects and keep their seeds from being eaten) But again, you're doing this primarily to feel better and not because you ahve some issue with PCO or lower egg quality and you have more leeway than others.
Eggs and salads are great!
Beans and Peas again, have chemistry in them that may be harmful. What the purpose of AFD is, is to minimize or eliminate as much as we can of things that have possibly detrimental effects on the body in favor of things that seem to be beneficial or neutral. you need protein, fat, and GOOD carbs in order to get pregnant so that's what we focus on, while eliminating things that have a reputation for being possibly harmful.
The most important thing I want to stress to you is that you need to be getting enough calories, protein, and fat. Above all else, you need calories (from carbs!) and fat to get and stay pregnant. So please do not get so hung up on "magic foods" that you lose sight of the forest for the trees here...
Thanks so much Atomic :)
I don't have totals as I gave up counting because I have been on this diet for so long. I don't exercise, but have decided to get up early and start power walking as I just don't have the energy to run, so will start off with the walking, but will do it for an hour. Could be good for my sanity.
I have been doing the alcohol since day 1, so I don't think that's what wakes me up as it would have started from the beginning. I gave up on fake sugars. I have half a brown sugar in each coffee with milk and non in my black coffee.
I think I will just ask my GP for something to relax me more so I stop over thinking everything. Might also ask GP if I can get hubby semen tested too, just to check on those swimmers.
Will stop googling now and just get on with things, fingers crossed it happens soon.
