Ok.
Just realised I counted cd27 which was actually cd1 so it was a 26day cycle
I'm taking a multivitamin
Fish oil
Co q10
Probiotic
Folic acid is that Ok?
Weights 4 times a week (previously 3 times a week for the past 2 years plus pilates once a week)
Yoga once a week
I used to workout on an empty stomach so I could just get on with it and not have to wait about. I'm trying to come up with ideas for preworkout snacks then have breakfast after.
Diet has been more or less the same as the past 2 years, porridge, chicken, fish, veg, avocado x2 a week, loads of eggs, dark chocolate, yogurt, Brown rice, peanut butter.
Once a week we have a vegetable pizza - pineapple/mushrooms/sweet corn
Once a week pasta which I've switched to wholewheat with Turkey mice and Bolognese sauce.
I've started having ham and cream cheese sometimes eggs as well in a muffin or with crackers.
Usually use coconut oil.
I add chia seeds, protein powder, dark chocolate, cacao powder and berries to my porridge. Twice a week Ill have avocado eggs and cream cheese on wholemeal toast for breakfast.
I'm struggling with snacks. I have dark chocolate peanuts, and at night I've started eating ice cream but not sure if that's ok (just been fancying it lately) I don't usually snack in the mornings but know I should. Just need ideas for when I'm out and about.
I have always drank black tea, but in the past 2 years have been drinking more coffee so I've cut back to 2 or 3 coffees a week (when im out and there's a starbucks calling me lol) and am drinking 2 or 3 teas a day. Just recently switched from semi skimmed to full fat milk. I drink 2l of water and also sodawater and either pineapple or pink grapefruit mixed with it.
Sorry this is a bit long : )
Thanks
All those diet changes look good. I think I'd ditch the chia seeds though. WE don't need any more vegetable fats then we have already.
How much fish oil?
Things like Larabars, granola bars, cheese sticks, peanut butter or cheese crackers, yogurts (even something like a Gogurt kind of thing!!)
Keep in mind that the idea of having protein and carbs at every meal and snack is so you don't have a blood sugar crash after eating like you would if you had pure carbs. BUT if you are in a situation where you have to eat mostly or all carbs (like out and about and it's the only option) that is still ok, but just be sure you eat again sooner, before the carbs have a chance to burn off and your blood sugar drops.
Keep up the good work!!
Ok. I thought chia seeds were good because they have protein and omega 3 fatty acids?
I'm taking 1000mg fish oil.
I'm not liking the amount of opposites we've gotten in people eating lots of things like this and wheat grass and EPO and flax, etc. I don't trust them at all any more.
I would also suggest dropping back on the fish oil to more liek 500 or else taking every other day. Fish oil can lower cholesterol and since estrogen and testosterone are made of cholesterol I worry that it may actually be harming our chances to go overboard on that. Anyone who has had a failed sway I am having them cut that by 1/2.
Ok I'll do that then. No more chia either!! Thanks :)
Sorry to hihhjack Babybeaublue ... fx for you hon!
Just noted Atomics comment...Oooh no I've been taking a 1500 fish oil tab daily :( and wheatgrass occasionally too (though not that often due to horrid taste)...
Hope it's not too bad?! if this cycle didn't work I guess I will drop to eod for the fish oil then
I'm not taking wheatgrass at all. Took it last time but as a supplement every day. I had actually started eod with the fish oil very recently but I keep forgetting which day to take it so I probably messed it up a bit lol
I'm in the UK so can't get larabars was wondering if Nakd bars, eat natural or anything fruit and nutty are Ok?
Also had to Google gogurt lol that's like frubes over here- the stuff in tubes?
I was wondering if I should switch from coconut oil to butter for cooking my eggs? Or is the oil Ok? Also I always use Himalayan pink salt (not every day) is this ok to use?
Yes I'd switch to butter - the coconut oil ~should~ be ok and it's what I have vegans use but the study hasn't been done to show me that it's as good as animal fats.
Anything fruit/nut that does not contain bunch of soy protein in it is good.
Yes exactly, you can freeze them and take them along and they stay cold that way.
