The best way to think of it, is that you want the worst case scenario to fall on O-3 and O Day. You will probably end up with your attempt on O-1 or O-2 but if you don't, if it ends up O-3 and O Day, that's ok. If there's anything left from O-3 that will fertilize the egg before the O Day sperm has a chance to capacitate and if there isn't anything left from that far out the O Day BD will back you up. So whether that makes sense to you to call that every 4th or every 3rd day, whichever works for you to keep it straight in your head. :)

Okay! Thank you both for your quick replies. I'll try this out and hope to be checking back in with a BFP!! And hopefully with a baby girl! :)
Okay ladies, one more question and this may be WAY tmi. But, I just had a huge gush of cervical fluid while laying in bed. Never had this happen before... any idea what this could mean?
It's probably the Femara. Since it blocks estrogen and then you have a huge rush in it when you stop taking it, it's not unusual to have sudden onset of symptoms. Now, I've never heard of that particularly but I have heard of many people who have huge libido and also huge O pain all of a sudden with it. :)
Atomic, im noticing significant hair loss since starting metformin. Would it be okay for me to take vitamin D?
It is very, very unlikely you are losing hair from low Vit. D. What is happening is normal and called telogen effluvium (I think I'm spelling that right LOL) and it's the same thing that makes you lose hair after you have a baby (also very common coming off of birth control as well) It has to do with hormones putting your hair into basically a "resting" state where it just kinda hangs out there and doesn't fall out, and then all of a sudden your hormones change and you lose gobs of it all at once. It seems very shocking when that happens and since it happens suddenly there aren't a lot of new baby hairs there to replace it and your hair can appear thin for a while till it grows back in again.
Now, if you have reason to believe that you have low Vit. D or a thyroid issue (thyroid is WAY more likely than Vit D!! Even people with very low Vit. D have normal hair most of the time) you should have that checked out but I'd hesitate to take Vit. D without reason for the sake of your sway.
Thank you Atomic! It has definitely been shocking!
Update:
I got a positive OPK and intense cramping on my left side and a tiny bit of cramping on my right side for a good 4-5 hours on CD 14 into morning of CD 15. So, now I wait! My sway didn’t go as well as planned because DH couldn’t do the e4d.. so I’m hoping the Femara/metformin will be enough!
When did you have your BD in relation to pos OPK??
If you are super concerned with the hair loss you can always run it by your doc to see what they say but 9 out of 10 times when women of childbearing age have that hair loss it is the hormones.
