Thanks for your calming words - no positive opk today (cd9) but sticks were pretty dark tonight. We didn't BD tonight which might not have been the smartest thing but it's done now. So I'll just cross all my fingers that positive opk holds off until cd11 when my husband is back. If I do get a positive opk tomorrow (cd10), is it still worth attempting on cd 11 when my husband returns (will be pm) or does this somehow sway blue - sorry might sound silly but I haven't really looked into what the specifics are for a blue sway. Thanks again for all your wisdom x

Yes absolutely it's a good idea to BD even if you've gotten the positive already. It doesn't sway blue, I know some people believe that, but most of us on here have tons of timing opposites (I DO) and studies have shown 50-50 boys and girls conceived on every day of the site. You will ovulate an average of 24-36 hours after that first positive, but it can be longer than that, even several days longer so it's always a good idea to try!
