People were going on for months and even years on Ingender trying for one attempt on O. It is not a good way to get pregnant and has caused tons of heartache for people. Shettles was wrong and we know 100% that he was wrong.

BD every few days in the early part of the cycle is good for boys IMO because the exposure to hormones in semen may help make you more boy friendly. But you don't ahve to do it that way if you don't want to.

I know Atomic had already cleared this up but I just want to second what most blue swayers aim for with their BD pattern. BD every 2-3 days unprotected from end AF through to +opk. Once you get +opk aim for 3 attempts; evening of +opk, am of next day then pm of that day. From then continue every 2-3 days in case of delayed O. For those who believe Shettles then they usually keep the BDs from AF to +opk protected. Personally I think there is something to the idea of exposure to DH sperm before your attempts so that's what we are going to go with.

The more I read the more I’m dealing to BD every other day rather than waiting for positive opk ... Can I ask ... what do you do leading to AF in BD EOD scenario, would you BD unprotected to give more exposure To the sperm making it not friendly or would you need to be protected?

I believe that exposure to DH sperm makes you more blue friendly so I would BD unprotected throughout the cycle.

Unfortunately my DPs work can be quite stressful and with having kids have found our BD pattern can be a bit irratic (sometimes 4-5 days in a row and then nothing for 1.5 weeks). This is the part I find hard about swaying blue as DP has always hated having to 'perform' when we are ttc so getting the 3 attempts at +opk without stressing him out too much will be tricky.

So are you not going to Bd eod ? Ohhh I don’t know what to do EOD or 3 attempts around O.. decisions decisions! When will you ttc miamelb?

CC I answered this point in another post just a minute ago explaining why EOD is not all it's cracked up to be wtihout at least one more additional BD in there somewhere!

Sorry but what does EOD mean?
Now im confused again. I bd with dh every other day then every day at +opk and I have 2 girls. The above description for blue sway seems to be v similar to what I did and have 2 girls (I only heard of swaying in recent weeks)
I was planning on bd protected until +opk then the 3 attempts for a blue sway?

I am going to try and BD every 2-3 days from AF to +opk then have the 3 attempts at +opk but I know getting everything right timing wise is a little different from what seems to happen when we aren't swaying so may be tricky to keep DH from getting too stressed.

Haven't got DH 100% on board with #3 (and he's definitely not sold on my ideal time frame which is to ttc in April 2018) so not sure when, stuck in a but of a holding pattern right now. Stealth swaying.
