I have been tracking my ovulation. When should we try? When the line is faint? Does the positive result mean that I am ovulating or that LH is high and I am going to ovulate a couple of days later? What’s the difference between trying once and trying multiple times up until a certain day. What is the difference in philosophy? Why choose one over the other? Thanks for explaining!
Any tips for vitamins? I understand about folic acid. How about others? Anything to boost or avoid?
Hoping i have similar luck to you.
My habits are similar to yours, although ive been tracking since early feb so only 6 weeks. Only had red meat once and try avoid chicken u less i need to help add protein. No exercise as im prob close to underweight anyways.. going to attempt this month as I dont wanna be on the diet long and loose weight. Just started my coffee though... praying it works
Hope you get your pink ☺️
Is it low meat or low protein that we are going for? If low meat, how does this help? I’m very curious about the science behind this philosophy, and also want to understand so that I can make sure I don’t mess up.
By the way, it’s so nice to have somewhere to discuss these things. Thanks to admin! I’m very hopeful!
Hiya Atomic will be best to answer your questions but from my understanding more vegetarians have got preg with girls so some people decide to cut meat out.
Meat such as chicken has high protein for little calories so depends how your diet is, every food is allowed just within your limits.
People take fibre as well ( i dont take anything accept folic) cal/mag is up to you, some believe it sways blue.
Opk has to be positive - dark as or darker than the control line, this normally means you are due ovulated in the next day or so. Everyone is different, sometimes even a positive opk doesnt mean u actually ovulated (how annoying?!)
Im sure theres links to findings re one attempt in fertile period which has proven girl success, dont think theres a proper reason to why but it just seems to be that way, maybe something around lowering testerone levels or reducing sperm count...
Main thing about diet is stay within limits of calories, fat and protein and NO snacking to reduce sugar levels
Ohhh and skip breakfast!!!
I asked a health store about folate and she looked at me very confused... said they only do folic acid.... is this something outside of UK? Or did i ask a silly quedtion..?🤔
Faint line is negative. The positive test tells you when the surge occurs and then you'll ovulate 24-36 hours or so later.
Trying once is what we found to be the most effective in our results (and I can explain more about how we discovered that if you want). Multiple attempts up to a certain day is a TERRIBLE idea, some other sites recommend that based on outdated, debunked information and most people can't even stick to it.
