Probably a couple of times a week - I had a jar of kids tomato sauce from Tesco (the one with Micky Mouse on the jar!) most weeks and that lasted a couple of days and the occasional meal like the one above. I actually feel that if you're sticking to the other limits of the diet (cals/protein/sodium), it's impossible to get too much of the other things you're not counting (fat/potassium etc.).
I think portabellos are okay...I was under the impression that the more gourmet kind like shitakes were the ones to avoid. I've never considered portobellos to be gourmet but now you're got me wondering...I'll try to find out. In the mean time, does anyone know if they're okay?????
Regarding the chilies, they're okay in moderation...key word is moderation!
Are tortillas on the girl diet? Can they be boy friendly too? Just curious, as I have been eating them.. they are a favorite around here.
I guess it depends what you eat them with! Our favourite is fajitas - with lots of vegetables, chicken, spices, salsa and grated cheese which I imagine is great for blue (and I eat 3 or 4 at a sitting!).

They're only on the girl diet if we can work them into our daily levels of cals, protein, sodium, etc. Some work well for girl swayers but most types I've personally encountered tend to be very high in sodium and sometimes even in protein. I would think you could definitely work then into your diet, Hobber!
Don't forget, on ALL three pink diets you need 2500-3500 mg potassium daily for your health. DON'T go below this number. Tomatoes (even every day) can help you meet your potassium requirement for very few calories. There are no magic foods!!
