Oh and I'm glad to see that u girls have tested rephresh with aci jel rep lens and sylk. And found to spike in ph. Awesome! Puts my mind at ease. And how cool that u thought of putting sperm in a shot glass and putting refresh in there with it.! And it lowered ph. Nice. :)

I'm sure that's a typo, but we found NO SPIKE in pH using Rephresh with Acijel, sylk, and Replens.
-
Just wondering why are you doing a replens finger before attempt? Why not a tiny bit of rephresh 1 hour before attempt?
-
Wilma, I think some people like to mix and match the Rephresh which is longer acting, with something that is quite low in pH like Acijel, Replens, Sylk but doens't last as long. There is no right or wrong way to do it.

Thanks for your reply atomic!! Your point of view is great!!

Thanks wilma!
You should blog about your experience with genderconsult if you ahve the time!! A lot of people would find it very interesting.

Ah, got it! You wouldn't need to reveal any secrets of course and that was NOT my intent in asking you.
LOL and people think I'm being weird making my diet for Dream Members only! ;)

Great thread, very helpful information! Just a question, if you were to use say 1/2 applicator full of Rephresh a few hours before DTD (say 3 days before O) and the DTD every day through O, the theory is that you should not need to use it again because it last for 3 days, correct? Also, if you do develop a ph spike around O is it safe to use a full applicator full if your pf is say 7?
Also, if you develop a ph spike around O time, is there any point in taking Sudafed or Benadryl at this time or is there no point at this late stage?

I used a full applicator - the amount of a full applicator isn't massive anyway, and it's very hard to only squeeze half out. If using RepHresh you shouldn't get a pH spike (that you'd be able to detect anyway)
As for drying up CM, it would probably be fine but a lot of people try to avoid it at OV day because there might be a risk of ectopics that way.
