Don't even say that Lassie! A close friend of mine told me last year she dreamt I was going to have twins. All I can think is I'll end up with 4 boys! My mechanic's wife did that. 2 boys and then twin boys. Yikes! I am hoping 1 baby just settled in early.
I am taking DH out for dinner on Saturday night to tell him.
I didn't mean it to scare you! As much of a miracle as twins would be, its not something that i think that I could cope well with (Mind you DH thinks it would be the best thing ever!)
How are you planning on telling DH?? Well done on keeping it a surprise :)
When will you be telling your boys??
Will your first scan be a 12 week one, or do you reckon you will have one sooner?
ahhhh the excitement! will you be finding out the gender or are you a keep it till the end as a surprise person?
I reckon when i get a BFP whenever that will be i will just burst into tears and be a babbling mess! gosh, getting all goose bumpy just thinking of it....hope we get our little bean in the not to distant future, actually, as you and i have already figured out we are cycle buddies, can we be BFP buddies as well - share some of that luck with me, would be amazing to have a BFP in the first month.
congratulations!!
Lassie, yes I certainly hope the rest of you ladies are right behind me on getting a BFP. It would be so exciting to follow how everyone is going.
Fortunately there are absolutely no twins on either side of the family. The idea of twins is great, but the reality of dealing with them I would find overwhelming. I found DS1 and 2 being less than 2 years apart full on. This time around, I would only have a few months and then the older 2 would be at school full time.
Taking DH out to dinner tomorrow night. Like me, he completely thought there was no chance of a BFP, so he will be shocked. Maybe I will order champagne and then tell him he has to drink it!
I wouldn't tell my boys until it was pretty obvious. It is such a long time for them otherwise.
I have private cover but had my boys in Perth so I don't know the system in the NT as well. I think I will have a scan when I first see the OB but not sure when that will be. I see the GP on Tuesday. I have forgotten what I do, it has been so long. I guess start with a bloodtest and a referral and go from there.
Thanks Rainbow. Your little raspberry will have a heartbeat now! Love that ticker. Wish I could get one to work on mine.
Yay! That's great news!
Please don't read too much into the darkness of lines or lack thereof - it doesn't mean much of anything. Some pg implant a little earlier and show darker tests than others.
Also, the antiparasitic medicine was prob. just fine. The danger zone for the first tri is later on than the first few days.
Congratulations!
Thanks AS. Yes, I have read a bit about the medication I took and studies show the incidence of abnormality is much the same % as in the general population of pg women. I am glad I found out about the pg when I did, before any structures were getting built, etc.
Cheers Zanacal. You are getting so close to meeting your girl!
Very many congratulations!! Have a happy and and healthy pregnancy!! :cheerteam:
