An apple a day doesn't seem to help me guess I should try the benefibre :-/.
For empty calories I mostly ate stuff from "Haribo", like gummi bears or phantasia. But watch the amount, they really have a lot of calories. Or I drank regular Cocke. I weighed my food and used fddb.info to track all my food and drinks. It makes it easier in the beginning, after a while you learn what you can eat and how much. I bought "I love Milka" and if it would fit in my daily limits, I ate one or two as a treat after one of my two meals a day.
Hi there!
I have just seen this thread and would like to join you  Unfortunately (in a way - we planned on going HT in fall, but apparently that's not going to happen ) I am pregnant already and scared as hell that this might be another boy. Chances are pretty high I guess  I was on such a boy-friendly diet during November and December, it was disgusting already.
Are you all swaying?
We are living at the Bodensee, but just moved here in April. Before, we used to live in NRW and we are still there a lot, thanks to family and friends
Hi Longingforgirl, welcome!
I am sorry to hear that your HT attempt is not happening just now, but you never know, you might not need it anyway. As Atomic said before, there is always a chance it might be a girl without swaying.
We are planning to sway, hoping for our 1st attempt in April. Currently just doing the diet again to shed some weight. Also taking supplements and tracking my cycle.
Just being nosy, ladies. What nationality are you all? As everyone's English is really good.
I am German, married to my British husband and we are now living in Germany :)
Thanks, GeCon!
Wishing you tons of luck in April! Was it you who said you are from SL? Is that Saarland or Schleswig? I used to live near Schleswig when I was a kid.
I am German but I love English and don't like German, lol. DH is German too.
I don't think there is a German forum though on which you can talk about this stuff to anyone,
Hi longingforgirl,
Congratulations on your pregnancy and happy and healthy nine months! Fingers crossed that this is the little girl you are longing for.
I am swaying since October, currently waiting for AF to arrive so I can start round 3 of clomid. This time I will also be on metformin and DH is going to take LR. I am also dieting and want to add exercise to my sway. DH and I both have a good feeling about the next cycle, I even looked up the date I should be Oing and its supposed to happen on valentines day :D.
Hi Pumpkin, thanks a lot!! I am so praying for a girl but I try not to get my hopes up.
Valentins day sounds really promising!! :D Wishing you good luck as well! Hope we are all getting our girls somehow.. are you doing a cut off as well? I just saw the statistics on the sways which were really interesting. Apparently that vinegar douche seems to help the most. Would have never thought that :suprise:
Thank you.
No we are going for the SMEP since I don't believe timing sways and we cannot afford to miss the egg (again) because this is what happend this cycle. I have 4 more months left on clomid and need to get pregnant ASAP. I am taking some supplements but don't want to do too much.
Valentine's Day sounds like a great plan, Pumpkin.
LFG, have you got a link to those stats?
Forgot to answer your question: I meant Saarland.
GeCon, sure: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/tryi...readsheet.html
Pumpkin, that sounds reasonable. Hope you get pregnant on the first try!! :fingers:
Oh, another question.. when you do get pregnant, are you going to be team green or are you finding out the gender?
Have a nice evening ladies!
I am definitely going to find out but we won't tell anybody. How about you?
Thanks, LFG. Hope it is okay to shorten your name this way? I will have a look at these stats after.
Yes, we will definitely be finding out. Way too impatient to wait. Think it will be nicer for our LO (2.5 years) too as we can get him to prepare for it more.
Will you be finding out? How does it work in Germany anyway? How many scans do you have and when? Our LO was born in the UK and there you usually have 2 scans: one at 12 weeks, where they determine how far along you are and another at 20, where you can find out the sex.
Have a great evening all.
Oh great, kind of great that you are all planning on finding out. Me too. I am so impatient and this waiting is real torture for me. Lol. Seriously.
GeCon, sure, shortening that long name is good
You get to have more ultrasounds here, which is really a good thing. Officially, you get three, but I don't know anyone who only has those three (except for one, a friend of a friend, but she wants it that way).
My gyn told me that I could book extra scans. 100 Euros for scans every time I have an appointment, which is usually every 2 or 4 weeks. Depends on the doctor I guess. On monday I will have my next appointment and as she already knows that this is an oops-baby, I will also tell her how scared I am of another boy and that I am dying to find out the gender. I hope she will understand. But I heard that she is very supportive
My LO is going to be 3 years in May, but apparently he is not really interested in the baby, lol. I think I am going to get a book about getting a sibling for little ones. Maybe then he understands a little better... DS1 wants to go to an ultrasound with me. The other day, I was looking at a picture of an ultrasound here on the forum. DS1 saw the picture and asked me "Mommy, what is that? .... A baby?". I was really surprised that he could see that. So I am taking him to an ultrasound  He is so looking forward to "be getting a baby" as he calls it. Lol.
So you have to pay €100 for each scan, which totals to at least €300?
No GeCon it's kind of like a flat rate. You pay 100€ once and get a scan at every appointment which is once a month.
Usually you have to pay for extra ultrasounds. Some doctors offer a kind of "flatrate", you pay a certain amount and get an ultrasound every time. I was very lucky with my doc (he is retired now). Since I miscarried my first baby and had gestational diabetis, I had appointments every three weeks. He had this ultrasound machine, where he could do nuchal scans. So I could see my son every three weeks, even in 3D, for free.
I see, sorry, I misunderstood. That's not too bad at all then. :)
From when will they tell you the sex?
Oh, sorry for not being clear. Yes, either you can buy a flatrate for scans or the doctor scans every time for free anway
I have no idea... 12 weeks I guess.. though that is still very early. I hope soon though
In the UK early gender scans are done from 16 weeks.
LFG, it wasn't the way you explained it, it was me misreading it. ;)
I quite like the idea of either free scans or even if you have to pay a flat rate. Do you get pictures of each scan too or can you "only" see the LO on screen?
In the UK there are private companies that offer additional scans, like early gender, 3D, but they are quite expensive, so the above sounds good to me. :)
I think it depends, how good the ultrasound machine is. My old doctor did nuchal scans with it, so he told me at my apointment at 16 or 17 weeks. But then, there was no mistaking it.
After reading the stats (thanks LFG) I have decided to stop the Acidophilus and am currently thinking about adding a fibre supplement (capsules rather than the Benefibre).
CD37 and 11DPO for me today.
I am hoping and crossing my fingers AF stays away for another two days as this would mean my luteal phase is normal rather than shorter due to the BF'ing.
How is everyone?
How is everyone? Hope you are all well. :)
Yes, longingforgirl, Chessika and me are alle a little bit nervous, I think...
longingforgirl wants to know if her girl is inside her, Chessika starts stimming in a few days; I'm preparing for my first try in march/april...
How are You? :)
Thanks for the update, letibe. Will you be going HT or trying natural swaying?
As for me it is CD15 and I am waiting to see when O will occur. I have very irregular cycles, so it is just playing the waiting game without stressing about it. In the meantime I am on the diet and hoping to lose some weight before our attempt next cycle.
No more Swaying for us, we'll try HT :)
What are you swaying for? Girl? :)
Good luck!
Thanks, letibe and good luck to you too.
Yes, we will be trying for a little girl. Fingers crossed.
Guten Morgen Ihr Lieben!
How is everyone?
As for me, I am on CD26 and appear to have ovulated yesterday. Now waiting for AF, so I can start taking the Clomid next cycle, which I have been prescribed earlier this week for mild PC ovaries.
Hoping to shift a few more pounds on the diet prior to our attempt.
Good luck GeCon! :luck:
I'm from New Zealand but my partner is from Berlin and we are living in New Zealand at the momment. We are going to try to sway for a girl next time round. It will be our 4th and final child. I haven't given swaying a proper go yet and really want to do it strictly this time since it will be my last chance for a girl that I want so much. I only swayed for a bit last time and got pregnant the month I gave up swaying and we had twin boys :) :)
My partner is a chef so maybe he can help me with the whole diet thing
Hi,
how are you doing all?
1+2+3boys, wow, twin boys, that sounds fun! New Zealand sounds fun too, lol.
We are stuck here in this bad winter weather... I think next winter, I am going to emigrate, lol.
Letibe is right, I am very very nervous.
Letibe, when is your cycle starting? Are you going to **** or to Genesis? Crossing my fingers already for you!!
Chessika as well...
And all the rest of you. I feel very bad because I didn't have a chance to sway. And I know that this is another boy and I have no idea how to cope with that. But after that, we are going HT. That will be in two years from now, so it seems like lightyears ahead.. but that is one thing we are being forced to be learning.. being patient... lol. I am so bad at that!!!!
Wishing everyone a great day!
Longingforgirl: You still have a good chance for your girl. Keeping my fingers crossed!
Thanks a lot.. Letibe, it's just a feeling. But I didn't sway at all. And it's a strong feeling. I feel like I have seen a boy's nub at the ultrasound the other day. I am already planning our trip to Dr. Potter in two years... I just don't know how I am going to cope with another boy. I don't seem to have the strength to go all through it again for "just another boy". Sounds so harsh but... that is exactly why we decided NOT to sway and go HT right away. Well...
I am looking forward to your cycle Letibe! You must be so excited already!!
Chessika, I have to catch up on your cycle. This nub shot thing is driving me so crazy that I can hardly think of anything else..
How are you doing?
1+2+3boys, when are you thinking of starting the diet and doing your first attempt?
LFG, any idea when you might be able to find out? I agree with Chessika, there is still a good chance that this is a little girl.
Letibe, exciting. I have no idea about HT, what is the process and what are your timelines?
Chessika, how are things, what's the latest?
Yes I'm very excited !
I'll be on short protocol with estrogen priming in the previous cycle. So I start with meds on march 14th! Stim starts about march 23th...
@ LFG: I so hope for a girl!
