Hey Anchor, just checking in to see where you're at.
I have my fingers and toes crossed for you that this is your month.
Good luck also to all the other blue swayers for January.
Am now 6 weeks (love those first two bonus weeks!!) and am having regular morning sickness every day if I don't eat, eat too much. I've only ever had that around weeks 9-12 with the last 2 girls and much milder. I also read older mums are less likely to have morning sickness so have my fingers crossed it's because I have a boy cooking....

I have been on the diet and DH and I have been taking supps for 4 months! Our first attempt is in a couple days...I think we are ready and just hope luck is on our side, cuz Im so tired of swaying! Lol! Best of luck to you! :)

Thanks 4G exciting you're almost there! Ideally wanted to TTC as soon as diet will help but maybe I should wait longer!can I ask if you tested ph levels or anything, just wondering wether to do this. Making sure I'm covering all avenues!x

I started the diet 2 months before our first attempt, the recommendation is at least 6 weeks, but i think the longer the better. I didnt fall pregnant right away, in fact it took me 10 months so i was on the diet for 12 all up! I was checking PH in the beginning but after so long swaying pretty much everything got dropped and i turned lazy, it is not something you have to do, but it doesn't hurt either.

This is exactly how i felt in the early weeks of my pregnancy :) Never had MS before and it was especially bad when i would get hungry.

Ask away! Altough Im not sure Im as good of a reference as some seeings how Im yet to be sucessful! Lol It is nice to have the advice of others though! I oredered PH strips and checked DH PH one time before reading further into PH and deciding that it was not an important factor to me. I focused more on the high nutrition aspect of swaying instead of the acidic/alkiline part. It just made more sense to me! I think you just have to find what clicks for you! How long are you planning to do the diet for?

I was all booked for ht in april then decided last week that swaying was the way for me, only took me over a year to decide! I am feeling positive and realy hoping this works for me as have three gorgeous girls and need a wee lad to finish us off. I am unsure wether to do ph now either,how do you actually test ph?

Wow! That is quite exciting mama3! I hope you get your little blue bundle!! There are some very knowlageable gals here and the blue crew has been having good results so hopefully we can join in the success!

Have you read the thread from boy moms on how they concieved their boys? I find it soo interesting that we have been doing things to sway without even knowing it! Did you have a typical girl lifestyle when you conceived your DD's?

yeah im feeling really positive! It is funny how much I nede to change mydiet to HE so I suppose that says a lot!With my girls I was always dieting, diet fizzy juice, diet products and hardly any meat or salt or bananas or tomatoes!!Need I say more! When I had my last two (twins :) ) I was heavier than when I had my first but still watchingweight. I have never really tracked ovulationn so need to work on that. Did you do temps? Did you have a girly diet?x

Twins! how exciting! Im feeling positive also but trying not to get my hopes too high! I have always been on the thin side and tried to watch what I eat, AKA not eat! Lol..with my first I was pretty young and partying and didnt eat well at all and with my second I had just gotten married so I was really trying to watch what I ate and had lost some weight. Never taken any vitamins before now either!

Yes I am temping and that is part of the reason I have been on the diet for so long. I wont be using OPKs so I wanted to have as much knowledge on my cycle as possible. Its amazing how much you can learn from watching your body's signs! I had no idea about EWCM, CP or ovulation before..probably another thing that led to my wonderful DD's! :)

Its a good idea! No I just use this sample chart I printed from Babycenter, I was amazed at how simple it was to figure out. I guess it wouldnt hurt to use FF as a comparison though..I just didnt want another step! Haha! Here is the chart I use: Blank BBT chart: Printable and free | BabyCenter

I don't know whether to hug you or tell you to stop it...hee hee.
I heard a funny theory today (but it appeals to my scientific mind).
I heard that you don't necessarily get sick with just girls or just boys but that your maternal lineage DNA has a major influence.
We know that mothers store the DNA of each child (this has been proven and I actually read an article recently on this that was unrelated to offspring. Actually it was about dementia but I won't get into that).
Anyway, the theory is that if your great grandmother had 3 girls, your grandmother had 2 girls and a boy, your mother had 2 girls and you had a girl and a boy, then your maternal DNA lineage would be predominantly female and you would not get as sick as say when you were carrying a boy. I'm not sure how or if there is any merit in passing this DNA on to your offspring but it sounds good...

Fertility friend is great, it really helps pinpoint O with you instead of having to guess yourself, but it does only really work if you enter temps. With the PH you get PH test strips and literally wipe some of your CM on it and see what colour it goes haha it sounds gross.

There are about 11 preggy blue swayers waiting to find out sex atm, i think Pearl is the next so im excited to see how they all go!

I would wash really well in the mornings pretty much everything out, so by the night time i could see what my cm was like.

Sorry ladies iv just been reading through all the last conversations .. I haven't been on for a day or so which is long for me have the worst ear ache ever, still stuffy nose and slightly chesty cough.. It's hasn't stopped me with my HE diet but I'm afraid doc might prescribe medication for my ear which im quite reluctant to take. I don't want to take medication, but I'm in such excruciating pain..anybody know any home remedies?? Lol

New ladies it will be overwhelming information I was exactly the same as you guys. But you get so use to it. It comes like second nature.. I've been on the diet just over 2months and my attempt isnt until April we can eat pretty much everything just remember proteins+carbs.. And eating smarter doesn't necessarily mean eating more!

Earlier i complained about eating a lot being a headache, now when i am in my 2WW period, and wanted to decrease my caloric intake, i can't seem to do it. I am hungry every 1 hour. I guess it did get used to it !!! But no junk...and even though i gained 10 pounds, the exercises seemed to create muscle mass and no one can guess that i gained so much. Maybe it was because i have a pear shape and when i started HE diet, i gained on the upper body so everything got balanced :)

Thank you esskal! I hope so too, I feel like iv ruined my sway if I have to take medication for my ear infection which I most likely will have to!! :( well I do have until April now, I just don't know if it will be enough time to make up

esskal I know that feeling of constantly wanting to eat in pregnancy I was so bad I would wake up 3-4am just to eat because I couldn't stand the hunger!! I actually enjoyed being plump and round especially after spend years of hard core cardio, swimming and watching my weight.. Enjoy it while you can you have a good excuse!!

Hey mama3 gals.. I started my diet Nov 5th to be precise and it's been 2months and a few days swaying isn't so bad although you do have your frustrating days .. Hubby is only taking multivitamins he doesn't know anything abut this lol. But I am hoping to TTC mid/late April.. ( I believe thats 6months of swaying)If not possibly may!

Might I add the HE diet i would deff continue during pregnancy but minus the concoctions and certain supps.. I haven't ate so healthy and nutrient dense Before .. regardless if i concieve a girl or a boy Still want to eat healthy .. How about yourself??

I wouldn't worry about the whole moon business...I have girls conceived in perfect boy full moons, biorhythm in Leo.

Yes, my girl was conceived under boy sign, negative ions and my boy was conceived under girl sign, positive ions. I wouldn't give it much credit...

If you have an ear infection and take antibiotics that should sway boy, from what I understand. Antibiotics for an ear infection would only last 10days AT MOST....I would get it checked out, you wouldn't want to damage your ear permanently...hope you feel better soon.

This is an easy one to use as well....here are instructions:

1. click this link: Biorhythm Chart Form

2. where it says 'create a biochart' there are some boxes to fill in underneath

in the first box name: obviously your name but its not important

in the second box birth date: select YOUR birth date

in the third box chart date: select the month and year you concieved or ovulated

in the fourth box Lunar cycles: select your timezone! for the UK it's GMT: 00:00 not sure what it would be for other countries?

3. click the button that says bio chart and a weird chart appears with green red and blue lines.

IGNORE the green lines.

If on the day of conception:

the blue line is in the top half and red is in the bottom half it predicts BOY

if blue and red lines are both in the top half it sways towards BOY

if blue and red lines are in the bottom half it sways towards GIRL

and if the red line is in the top half and the blue line is in the bottom half it predicts GIRL


also you see little moon shapes. apparently this bit isn't *as* accurate but still predicts gender.

white moon = predicts boy
grey moon = predicts girl

I've a quick question that I wondered if anyone could help with. I'm taking EPO and fish oil but I have a feeling that the EPO delayed O last month. Do any of you guys who take EPO stop it before O is due? I'm CD 11 right now, O'd on CD18 last month.

Yep i dropped epo after a few months of wacked cycles, you could def try just stop taking it a couple days before O, but if your still wacky drop it completely, the fish oil is great for ewcm, you could even double your dose of it to make sure you get lots of ewcm.

I only take EPO once a day and I stop taking before O is due.. But I agree with cinns upping the fish oil brings on alot of EWCM
It did for me anyway.. But of course see what works best for you.

Hi afy, thanks for info. Yep Im the same never eaten so much meat and dense foods but I feel healthier in that I ameating more veg and eating a lot less sweets and drinking less aspartme filledfizzy drinks! I was planning on doing diet for two months as would like to ttc as soon as possible but I want the best sway so Its a hard one! Taking Fish oil, prenatal, folic acid at thr moment and waiting to see what is on my plan. When are you planning to dtd? If you dont mind me asking!
