Hi all! We came back after our first visit from IEGRA clinic :running: Everything was ok. We with hubby went through medical examination and got acquainted with doc who will pass us through our ivf program. So, i was prescribed with birth control pills to regulate my cycle, then i'll be able to be matched with my egg donor :happy: We came back so positive, both of us are full of happiness and positive thoughts:hug2:

Hey, thanx) no, I didn't. donation is anonymous but we had ability to see medical records of our donor, so it satisfied us. BTW the donor was matched according to phenotype. So, I can imagine how she looks like and know for sure she is totally healthy.

Yes, it means that she looks like me..the same hair/eyes colour, shape of face etc.

Thank you, girls for congratulations. I've said already that everything was ok, we've got acquainted with our doc, went through medical examination. I liked the city a lot. we had some free time and had ability for a brief excursion around the city. concerning place of living, we booked a room in 3 stars hotel "Sunotel Aston". Nothing special but it was enough for us. We lived 2 days there, so didn't need something special)

and how much was your hotel?

We paid 160 euro for 3 days and 2 nights per 2 persons. In average 50-55 euro/24h

and what abt prices on food and drink.
did it cost much for you?

No, it is not so much. Prices are acceptable and of course, it depends on eating habits. We had no time to think about food there, so ate everything)))))

Once again my congrats, Leticia! I'm so glad for you. Seems to me hotel is not so expensive if to take to consideration that you should stay there only 1-2 days. How long will you stay there during your second visit?

thank you for congratulations, ladies. But the most important things are still waiting for us) Our second visit will be in 4-5 weeks. Our doc. will tell us when it will be high time to go. Yes hotel was ok and no so expensive, we were satisfied. The second visit will be 5-10 days.

great!that means that the procedure takes up to 5 weeks. and in case of success you will be pregnant and within 9 months you will become a happy mother!!:pregnant:

I hope very much for success but also I'm ready to the first fail. I know I have 8 attempts, I know I have guarantee but somewhere deep inside I prepared that first attempt will fail( I know that it is not good to think like this but can do nothing with it. But I'm sure that till the end of the program I'll be a mother) It is for sure.

you know i read a lot of books abt psychology and all of them say that our thoughts have the tendention to change our life. and in what side - depends on our thoughts.
if we think that we will fail - we will, if we think that we will succeed-we will.

so don't think that your first attempt will fail and everything will be good.

Thanx, I will try to change my attitude to the situation. I know that there are no reasons to think that everything will be bad even vice versa. I always think that people need psychologist after the fail but as I see I also need before the procedure)

Thank you all that you tell me all these, it helped me and now I'm trying to look at it from the other side. We took a few days off and went with hubby to the picnic)) It was great time. We went through difficult times and this picnic was the first great moment after all that dark times.
