Welcome lyngostar and angielorna!
I know how you feel about the diet angie, I'm finding it harder this time, although I don't think it helps having Easter eggs everywhere and the kids at home always eating!
How are you feeling lyngostar?

LaVieEnRose - thank you, the appointment was fine, unfortunately I was 15 mins late as I messed up the timing, I thought it was at 12.30 and it was 12....anyway there was still time to have a quick discussion on why I was there and have treatment. She said she was giving a gentle back treatment for hormonal balancing because I had AF last week she said it was best not to be too stimulating in order to promote a natural cycle. I have another appointment next wednesday. She did recommend an appointment every week for 6 weeks then go to every other week, but I cant afford that so I will go to next weeks, have my holiday and then see if I need any further appointments. Hopefully by then I will have news of when the ultrasound appointment might be too.
And - TMI alert - when I got back to work I went to the loo on my way back in and I had a lot of watery cm so something must have worked!
Not sure when I should start testing with OPKs now, I am on CD10. We havent BD for over a week (tried dropping hints last night but DH preferred to watch some stupid TV programme) and keeping up with every 4 days seems a bit ambitious so rather than pressurise ourselves I would rather just BD when we can and then one attempt at pos OPK.
Great news steph watery cm awesome!!! Love your relaxed attitude xx

Loobylue - Ole is taken by dh all cycle
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
Thanks. I went ahead and ordered some! Haven't mentioned it to dh as yet though!! Sounds like there's good benefits regardless of swaying so I shall use that as a selling point :)
It's so great to here everybody else's experiences. A lot sounds very familiar so it's nice to know I'm not alone!!!
Stephk: wow, this therapist has 'healinghands' ! Sounds promising even if you can go a few times, it will help I'm sure ! And the holidays will relax you ....FX!!!
Welcome angie, loobylue!
Welcome lyngostar! So sorry for your loss. Xx
I'm starting to track ovulation again. There's a faint line so hopping all is kicking in again!
I really wanted to get OLE for DH (as he has unhealthy lifestyle choices lets say) but I couldnt find it anywhere and it would be me having to pay for it. Looby - where did you get it from and how much if you dont mind me asking?
LaVieEnRose - great news that you might be ovulating again soon, you must be really healthy :)
Ah thanks Stephk! Not sure if I'm super healthy but trying! I certainly wasn't a month ago with the diet but I'm approaching it a bit differently now.
I have started to drink green smoothies - not very pink diet I know but my body is craving these- and I do feel quite energised.
The kids love drinking them too (even my 1year old)- we call them 'shreck juice' !
its better than eating breakfast cereal IMO and you must need it otherwise you wouldnt crave it :)
Hi Stephk.
I got the ole from Amazon.
It was £11.47 I think for 120 tablets. There are cheaper choices but dh is a vegetarian so I have to get the slightly more expensive tablets.
Here's the details...
Now Foods 500mg Olive Leaf Extract Vegetable Capsules - Pack of 120 Vegetable Capsules
I chose 500mg as atomic suggested on a response to another post by somebody that 500mg-1000mg in dry tablet form. I opted for the lower dose. Hope I've understood it right.
Hth. :)
So who else is doing exercise and what are you doing? I've never really exercised in my life but decided to include it in my sway this time since it's getting such good results. I'm doing the Walk Away the Pounds 4 mile challenge dvds as often as I can. So far it's only been 3 days a week, but I'm trying to increase that. We just got back from a little 3 day trip to Palm Springs where I ate a TON and didn't exercise at all, but oh well. I did skip breakfast every day though. I still have 3 weeks till my attempt so I'll get back on track tomorrow. I did my workout dvd tonight so that's good! I'm wearing a pedometer now and trying to get at least 10,000 steps a day even if I don't exercise.
Sounds like an awesome break at Palm Springs essence! I'm just a little jealous! 😉
I started the exercise but have had to stop right now (as I just can't handle it on top of my body dealing with a loss not so well) but I was doing an hour on a spin bike or walking outside.
I used to be a PT and so I'm a huge weight training fan but hate long cardio sessions so I'm hating this but will start again once I physically can. I want to include it in my sway too as it's the one regret I had previously.
I've always been an exerciser so very happy to include in the sway, it is different to what I was doing before though. When DS was conceived I was doing weights three times a week, yoga once a week and a hardcore Pilates class once a week. Hardly any cardio, I probably did 10-15 minutes before I did weights. I couldn't understand why I never got below 70kg as I was going to the gym 5 days a week lol (and eating too much but was in denial)
Now I do the weights once a week (have to for health reasons), I do it before my hours cardio so no worries. I go to the gym Monday to Friday before work and use the cross trainer for an hour with the most banging tunes I can find, and I read the subtitles on TV so the hour passes really quickly. After tht I do Pilates/yoga/stretches for half hour. On Saturdays I do aerobics. I go to the gym when I can on Sunday but DH doesn't like all the time I spend in the gym so will often skip Sunday. If I do go it's purely an hour on the cross trainer. My DH said to me today that I look so muscly I will definitely have a boy :( oh well I make gorgeous boys just as I am sure you ladies do.
Palm Springs sounds amazing and I would have eaten constantly :)
Mumofsix how cool that you were a PT!!
Just jumping in here, since April is a largely abandoned thread. :) I'm cycling late in the month, so just got my +OPK today. Yay! This is our 3rd attempt, so hoping all aligns tonight!
I did a super low dose Clomid this month. (couldn't stand the regular dosage when I tried 2 months ago) Doing zyrtec, just because I have a ton of cm (TMI?). Dh and I have both been sick this week, so hoping that helps out! I mostly dropped exercise as my youngest has been going through a no-sleep phase as he gives up naps and dh and I have both been walking zombies for the last two weeks. It's a bummer as I really wanted to include it, but there has just been no way I would have enough energy. Drinking massive coffee just to get through the day most days. (Praying dh even has the energy to dtd. Lol!) I've eased up on the LE diet, too, this round. Still going vegetarian, but have added in a little more fat and protein. Hoping all that helps! I'm 37 so feeling the pressure to get preg quickly. With all 3 of my boys it's been so easy to get preg...in fact 2 were surprise condom babies...so I also foolishly though we'd get preg with a girl easily too. Ha! Shows what I know. ;)
I'm feeling ok thanks ladies. Felt a bit down all week but getting closer to O and I'm trying to look forward to our attempt.
How's everyone else doing?
Good luck with ur attempt girliedreamz.
Good luck girliedreamz!!!!!
essnce - I started doing the exercise (7 km walks 6 days/week), but then got ill after a few weeks and stopped it and haven't resumed it yet. Since next attempt is within a few days (or maybe even tonight - opk:s are getting stronger!) I chose to not add it this cycle. Haven't been feeling well enough to do it as intensely as it takes and didn't wanna do it just for a few days. Will probably add it in for next cycle if this one doesn't make me pg.
I don't feel very satisfied with my diet this last week. Easter wasn't very good (had breakfast two mornings plus a lot of candy and snacking) and I haven't really gotten on track again. Trying to stay within limits, but after being more on the low side I am now a bit on the high side, around 1700 cal or so. Also yesterday was a big family gathering with cake and cup cakes I couldn't resist. Didn't even track the days intake, I am 100% sure fat and cals are way over limits. Skipped dinner though but I don't think even that was enough to balance it up.
girliedreams - Good luck! I will also be attempting in april (again) since O seems to come up earlier. I have shortened my cycles quite a bit, lp is only around 9-10 days now (because of Vitex I guess).
Good luck girlie hope its your month xxx

Hey guys, AF showed up so I'm joining you ladies for May.
So sorry, Arimethia! Hoping May is your month!
I'm officially in the 2WW. Yay!
Since I've been having such a hard time pinpointing O (trading off cycles with clomid and vitex), we plan to do every 4ish days, so hopefully we'll have a couple more attempts in the next week. I'm thinking one mid-week and another next weekend? Anyone else doing every 4 days?
Hey ladies! Sorry to hear Arimethia. Good luck for this month though!
I am in my 2ww as well girlie! good luck to you!
I am 3dpo today. It's going to be a long 8-10 days! I hate the waiting.
Sorry arimethia!! That plain sucks!! Fingers crossed may is your month
Good luck Rosie yes the 2ww is the worst!!
Good luck girlie dreams xxx

I can't wait to be in the 2ww. The wait from af to o drags in. Lol. At least in the 2ww I have hope that I might be pregnant.
I agree Lyngo. I like the hope part but I am always second guessing everything I am feeling. I am 3 dpo and I have so much twinging and cramping and nausea already, like I did with DS3. I am super sensitive to hormones so pregnancy hits me quickly but sometimes I feel like I am making myself feel it because I want it so badly.
I didn't realize how many girly clothes I bought until I pulled them all out from under my bed today when cleaning. Yikes!! I am dreading not being able to ever use them. Praying my girly bean is cooking safely in my belly!
Hoping you're preggers Rosie. This last time I actually got pulling in my uterus when I moved too quickly... Before I even got my bfp. That's when I couldn't deny anymore that I was poss pregnant!! I never had that before that early with my other 3 prob because it instantly knows what to do now lol! I also had kinda sensitive boobs a couple days after the deed but then that went away. In all my other preg I always got more cm (yellowy) but this time I was so dry (tmi) I was sure I couldn't be pregnant but alas I was!!
Just thought I'd add for all you symptom spotters;)
TWW is so hard. It was kind of fun the first cycle but not so much anymore. I've still got at least another 10 days before OPK so not waiting yet. I didn't really have early symptoms with my boys so I'm not sure I would be able to tell other than a pregnancy test
I have yellow CM right now, very light amounts though. I am slightly worried because I still had a decent amount of EWCM during ovulation, hoping it didn't sway too far boy for me. I have not been feeling good today at all. Not sure if its a flu though since it has been going around in my area.
I so wish I was symptom spotting with you all, I'm cd47 todag and still no sign of af. Anyone got any ideas of how I can help kickstart ov? Im getting desperate now :(
lyagirl - i hear you!! I had a 95 day cycle and it absolutely SUCKED! When AF finally came I wanted to have a party. Where are you based? If in the US, apparently you can get provera from the doctor pretty easily which can be used to kickstart things. If in the UK like me then it depends on the doctor. Mine sent me for bloodtests but only after I insisted that they take action, I am now waiting for an ultrasound on the back of the blood test, they wont prescribe anything until further investigation is done...
Have you just come off BCP?
are you stopping vitex just before you expect to ovulate?
by the way, I am really sorry about your loss x
I don't think I did stop it when I thought I was about to ov last time :S would that have messed it up?
yes, that could have messed it up, some people take it as a BCP all month long apparently, so the advice is to take it from AF-O or just before O. For some people it can really screw up cycles and delay O.
Oh ladies those long cycles are terrible. I had a 345 day cycles in between ds2 and 3.The doctors told me to start on some supplements such as fish oils and other vitamins which goes against a pink sway of course. They had also offered other medications which I turned down. I just waited it out and it came on it's own almost a full year later. So no real suggestions and not very reassuring but just wanted to share my story. Oh and they did testing and found nothing wrong, it was just all some weird fluke.
I had delayed O once in the last couple months which I guess I had wished for but it made me angry at the time, so I dropped the diet for 3 days and my cycle went back on track...not sure if it was a coincidence though.
