Not to me in person its just on the report. They asked if I had been bleeding. Showed me the baby and that was pretty much it. Took forever though cause the person doing it was a trainee who had to wait for validation.
The more i look at it it doesn't match the sizing of the other GS.

It looks like a hematoma to me, Netti. Techs don't like to mention that because inevitably people will have questions that they shouldn't have to answer. Once the Perinatologist reviews and signs off on your scan, he/she will discuss the scan with your doctor before your appointment. With the small size that it is, your body should heal from the hematoma very quickly. These form when the blastocyst implants on or very close to a blood vessel in your uterus. As the embryo forms, the scab falls off leaving new tissue behind. This can also cause brown blood to be released from the new tissue formation. This is extremely common because the uterus is filled with tons of blood vessels. It seems new to us, because people weren't getting early scans years ago.

Hi ladies, I hope you don't mind me joining. I swayed for my son in 2015 and had him May of 2016 after over a year of trying and 3 rounds of Clomid. I'm now, surprisingly, pregnant. I really don't know how I feel. I'm actually sad - I wanted one more summer of just my son and I. This baby's EDD is 2 days after my son's 2nd birthday. I wasn't planning on trying until fall next year, so I'm just so overwhelmed and now I feel sad that I'm not happy for this baby. So hard. But, I trust this forum and group of ladies so I know I can be honest with how I feel. On a positive note my husband is happy!
On another note I'm hoping for another son. I didn't sway at all, other than a multivitamin and extra vitamin D. We'll stay team green as well so I won't know until May.

Welcome back Taytum [emoji4] fx for another boy. We are due in April hoping for pink.
I have been unwell with a flu possibly a secondary infection. I have the week off work so resting up and trying to catch up on housework.
Im going back for another scan today just to check everything as ive been so unwell and just want some reassurance. I need to remember to drink my water [emoji23]

Hello Blue Booties!! So happy to see another familiar face! And that I'm not alone in my feelings - I just can't feel connected to this one yet. Normal? I cry whenever I think about my little mamas boy having to share me. My heart hurts for him and I just feel like it's too soon. Ugh, and I don't want to feel like this, I want it to be a happy time.

Taytum i think in time it will start to feel better. I always thought it was a big adjustment from 1 to 2.
My scan went well. Just 1 baby healthy baby on par with my dates of 7w3d. HB 157. Hematoma appears to have a clot so hopefully its on the way out. Next scan at 12 weeks.

It depends on the temperament of baby #1. My DS1 NEVER slept until 2.5yrs old [emoji15]! For me, going from 0-1 was by far and away the hardest! I'm slightly nervous about going from 3-4, since this will be my closest age split between kids at around 21-22mo apart. I'm used to 2yrs9mo or 2.5yrs apart between kids. We will see! I'm expecting the worst and hoping for the best!!Quote:

Xx! My youngest two are 28 months apart and I love their age gap! Going from 3-4 was by far easier for me than going from 2-3.

My son is pretty great (I know I'm biased haha). He sleeps well, and has for a while, he's laid back, he's sweet, shy and just overall a joy to be around. It's hard thinking that I don't get just that time with him for longer. I was hoping for about a 3 year gap between them. But, trying to focus on the positives of this 2 year gap.

congratulations Taytum :) i remember you from when you had your son, personally i found going from 2-3 the hardest adjustment, suddenly i had more kids than hands!! all mine have small age gaps ranging from 13 months - 17 months and i love it :heart: your little boy will have a playmate close in age and you will be great :) dont doubt yourself! xx

I'm slowly coming to terms with it - DH is so excited so that's helping. Just staying cautiously optimistic.
How's everyone feeling? Only 5+2 but I really don't feel anything (knock on wood). I don't even know if I can say frequent urination because I upped my water intake. Boobs are sore sometimes. Hoping it continues this way!
Feeling ok Taytum. I was really sick last week with a flu. Feeling a little better this week im just tired, not motivated and nausea 🤢
The gender is starting to play on my mind abit now which isn't helping with motivation. I just keep trying to look at it that its done not much to do but wait.

I hear ya - I have no clue which way this baby will go. I am hoping for another boy, but I weighed less than I did with DS, only DTD 1x 48hrs from O, I went to the bathroom right after we were done and I had just finished breastfeeding. Also not the most protein heavy diet. But, I was taking a vitamin D and multivitamins too so who knows. Like you said what's done is done! What was your sway like?

Taytum- we are just finishing winter here in Aus. Worst flu season with so many sick. Ill be glad to see summer.
My sway wasn't that great. I haven't been eating breakfast since ds5 was born and changed to a caramel coffee mix too rather than the tea I was drinking previously. We changed things around with FR this time with 1 attempt. I had some wine just before ovulation otherwise that's about it. Diet and exercise weren't my strengths so I didnt focus on them. Ill be 9 weeks on Monday it seems to be going fast. My in-laws and BFF know but we are waiting to let everyone else know when we know the gender.

@Jenn - Yep EDD May 4th! DS's 2nd birthday is May 2 so we're just REALLY hoping that this baby avoids that day! This was a surprise BFP so I didn't get to do any swaying. It was about 50/50 as far as some aspects were pink and some were blue. We're team green so we won't know until birth, but hoping for another boy! How about you?

I just got my BFP on 9/8. Due on 5/15/17! I was swaying for a girl so fingers crossed! I have my first u/s on 10/4! So far this pregnancy is very different from my last... but I know every pregnancy is different.

Netti - great to see another 5 boy momma, hope we get a splash of pink in our lives...he he! I always dreamt I had a girl and it was always turned out to be opposite :fx: it's opposite for you too. No dreams for me yet. We know this one will be a boy (already kinda picked a boy name) :D

I have been unwell with a Uti (which I think caused me to have a little spotting) only for 1 night and nothing since and no antibiotics and feeling better.
Got my 1st Midwife appt on 29th September
