Momto3girls can you try a different opk maybe? Ovuplan ones if you can get them are really good? Otherwise just keep doing eod if that's easier :)

I am not sure if I will get more or not. The only reason I have these is because they didn't get used last cycle. I have never heard of that brand of test. Not sure we have those up here in Canada. Thank you for the advice. We will continue doing eod and see what happens. Oh I wanted to ask what about eod makes it a boy sway? Is it just making sure there's are lots of sperm when the egg drops? Eod keeps dh's swimmers at maximum health so there's basically a fresh load ready plus whatevers left from the previous bd 48 hours prior. It also means you'll always end up with two attempts :) Eod just ensures you always have a fresh, healthy load waiting to meet that egg [emoji3]

I agree the cheapie opks didn't work for me so I'm using clear blue smileys now. Should arrive today, and so much cheaper on Amazon!
Pbn I'm not too worried about multiple attempts, I had 4 days of pos opk when dd5 was conceived so loads of attempts but still turned out pink!
Had to pee without the opks. It's 2.40pm and they still haven't arrived. Couldn't wait any longer. :(

We got in an attempt this morning. It was rather painful for me as my ovaries are so so sore! But that's ok because that means something is happening!

ABC - Now that's a temperature spike! FX you can get that Clomid!
Momto3girls - I wonder if that's as dark as your opk will get. I've had months where the test line is super close but not quite as dark as the control line. I think BDing EOD is probably your best plan until you know for sure that you've O'd. It sounds like your attempt this morning will be super close to O. Sending lots of blue baby dust your way!

Well maybe I got optimistic too soon with that BFP yesterday. Today my test is more faint and took longer to show up. I was nauseous yesterday but that's gone today and I'm super crampy. I know so many people say a line is a line but with my other loss, the test line got fainter each day so of course I'm assuming the worst at this point. Going in for a blood draw tomorrow morning. Here is a comparison of today's and yesterday's tests:

Yaybaby were they both using fmu? Maybe your pee was more diluted? Really hope your blood test shows up good fx
Got a message from Amazon, parcel delayed could be another day or two. I don't understand why because according to tracking it's with the carrier in my city?!? I'm having no luck with deliveries recently. Had to laugh though, Dh said he'll just have to keep dtd every night to be sure(!)

Our goal was to try 3 DPO but I am getting conflicting results with my testers. Usually OV is 3 days after I get a high fertility reading with the Clearblue easy monitor. So we DTD right after the surge. Then for the last 2 days I have gotten a clear LH surge on a differnt brand test strip, but clear blue just says high - no LH surge detected.
Also, it may be coincidence, but I am having a dull pain on my right side today. I had a similar pain on my left last month around OV. And before I started seriously tracking I used to notice this happening mid cycle.
What test strips do you all use? Also, did you ever feel like you are going quietly mad with trying to understand all the factors ?
Sciencegirl I feel like once I have something figured out, I come across something else I should or more importantly should not be doing!! I'm using clear blue smileys. I NEVER got a pos with any of the cheapies, or even shops own brand. The cheapies I used when TTC last time are no longer being sold which is typical lol

For the first 3 I think it was one time around O
Dd4 was an IG opposite (once at +opk) DD5 a GD opposite, with multiple bd at pos opk; so I'm not sure why I'm trying again lol!
BBB if you're ever in this situation again, use a clean container or plastic throwaway cup etc and collect a sample. It can sit in your bathroom for several hours and still be used to test with :)Quote:

Yaybaby wondfos are really not good for progression and can cause alot of unnecessary stress, especially when you've experienced a loss. It's great your going on for bw and I'm assuming you'll be doing 48hr bw? I'd stop testing with hpts and wait for the betas [emoji173]
Momto3girls yay for attempt!! Look forward to seeing if your opk goes fully pos or not. Will you add in extra attempts regardless or stick with eod?
BBB will you stick with eod? The other option is purchasing an opk pack from your pharmacy/supermarket. You may need to pay more than online though [emoji53]

BBB I order a lot from Amazon & I've had more late deliveries lately - it's becoming more common. I think it's because they use all these contracted independent people now to deliver (not just UPS/USPS) and I've read that they are giving those people too many deliveries and they're not able to get them all done in a day. If you paid extra for rushed shipping you can ask for a refund on it.Quote:

Sigh - so doctor still wants me to come in tomorrow for progesterone test even though I called and told him that I'm sure I ovulated on Tuesday - I don't think he believes me since I got the +OPK last Friday, and I don't think he fully believes in the temperature charting method. He said he'd do another test on Tuesday if tomorrow's test looks "off" - which I'm guessing it will be since it will only be a couple of days past ovulation. I feel like I'm going to have to push really hard with him to get Clomid - he has already thrown the possibility of it out there but it feels like he's going to try to avoid prescribing it if he can.
Abc at least he's willing to redo the test if the results look 'off' which they will if you'll only be 3dpo so this inconsistency in pos opk and prog results from both days may just push him more towards clomid [emoji3]

I am not planning on getting any more OPKs. I will monitor CP and CF and go off of that since that's what I started with. I am pretty sure O happened today as CF was pretty much non existant tonight. ScienceGirl - What brand are you getting a clear LH surge the last few days from? Can you share your chart? I wonder if you ovulated yesterday or are going to today... I use Wondfo test strips for OPKs. And yes, I always feel like I'm going mad! Lol. So much overanalyzing! Which sways blue but I can't help it, its so hard not to. This time I wanted to try a cut off though since it is our first month TTC and I figured we likely wouldn't get pregnant, which would have been fine because we are about to be moving. So we DTD on the first day that the opk looked kind of darkish, but not yet positive. The next 2 days it was positive and my temp went up the day after that, so we ended up with one attempt and a 2-day cut off.
ABC - good luck with your testing! I hope everything works out in your favor and you can get your hands on some Clomid.
Momto3girls - I am so excited to hear that you got your 3 girls in the first month TTC! It took about 6 months with each of my boys. And it definitely sounds like you've O'd, maybe those tests just wouldn't get any darker than that. Welcome to the 2WW! FX that there's a blue bean that sticks!!!
So I had a blood draw today and my HCG is 102! Seems pretty good for 13 dpo. With DS2 it was 94 at 12 dpo but I got my first positive earlier with him so still comparable. My wondfo this morning was also a little bit darker and the line showed up right away. So I'm going to stop stressing for now :D I will have my next blood draw in a couple days. Here is a comparison of yesterday's and today's because I can't stop :poas:

Pbn we ended up with 3 attempts, 2 of those being on the same day and 1 being at the beginning of my fertile period. So we will see what happens. It's like clockwork for me too! It's nice to have these signs
I am the worst poaser so I am sure by I will be starting at 8 maybe 9 dpo if I can hold out that long lol

BBB you generally dont o until day after pos opk so wont see a spike until 2nd day following pos opk so that's totally normal. Can you get an attempt in before you leave for wedding?

Hi guys. My temp just dropped below coverline at either 10 or 12 DPO. :( I'm out. EVERYTHING this month pointed blue and DH will be out of town the next TWO months while I'm ovulating. I am so, so devastated.
